To recall, in the month of September, OnePlus has started testing the OxygenOS 11 open beta for OnePlus 8 series. Now, the company has begun rolling out the Android-11 based OxygenOS 11 Stable version update for the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro smartphones. The update is arriving on the OxygenOS 11.IN11DA Firmware version and it comes with a bunch of changelog. As of now, the update is limited to Indian users only and will be released shortly in the other countries too.

What’s new?
Talking about the changelog, the update brings new add-ons, Fresh new UI visual design and optimizations. The new add-ons include gaming tools box for convenient switches, quick reply feature in a small window for social apps, mis-touch prevention feature, Always-on ambient Display function, Insight clock style, 10 new clock styles, shortcut key for Dark Mode, 5 new themes (ocean, space, grassland, and so on), and much more.
The company has also said that OxygenOS 11 will be released shortly in the upcoming days for OnePlus 7T Pro, OnePlus 7T, OnePlus 7Pro, OnePlus 7, OnePlus 6T, OnePlus 6 and OnePlus Nord smartphones.
Similar to all the other updates, the company is sending the updates in phases, and as a result, everyone will be experiencing the update within a week. Meanwhile, navigate to Settings>Software updates and check for updates to check the update status manually. Also, make sure to switch over to a WiFi network to avoid carrier data charges. We also suggest you to maintain atleast 60% of charging before updating.
