Where other OEMs are preparing their next-gen skin that will support Android 12 OS, OnePlus is still testing OxygenOS 11 for the OnePlus 6 series. According to the reframed timeline, the lineup will get the update by late August. Following its roadmap, OnePlus is finally sending OxygenOS 11 Open Beta 3 to the OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T.

The third OxygenOS beta eliminates the annoying bugs and deals with several issues present in the second beta. Concerning changelog, the build will improve the battery life by optimizing the background functioning of the device. Plus, it will enhance the smoothness of YouTube videos and system stability. Alongside, the update carries a couple of fixes related to Network and Work-Life Balance.

OxygenOS 11 Open Beta 3 is live for OnePlus 6 and 6T smartphones. The users who are currently in the second beta will receive the update as an OTA.
However, if you are presently on the stable version, you can download the full OTA. After downloading, put the package in the root directory of the device's internal storage. To begin with the installation process, head to Settings > System > System Update > “Local Update“ and flash the update from the internal storage.
