Last year in Q3, the Xiaomi-owned brand— Poco came up with a new device called Poco F2 Pro. The smartphone has a 6.67-inch Super AMOLED display paired with up to 256GB of storage and 8GB RAM. Beneath the screen, the phone runs Snapdragon 865 5G processor and Android 10 pre-installed. It has a 64 MP quad rear camera and a single 20MP Motorized pop-up sensor for selfies.

- [August 06, 2021]: Xiaomi is releasing a new software update to the Poco F2 Pro that carries the security patch for July 2021. The stable update is rolling out across the globe through the firmware version V12.5.2.0.RJKMIXM. The new patch increases the system security by fixes some of the risks and vulnerabilities from different vectors. You can apply for the OTA here, and flash the recovery ROM from here.
- [July 3, 2021]: A few weeks ago Poco F2 Pro received the MIUI 12.5 stable update for the European region only. But, now Xiaomi has released a stable update for global users also. Alongside, it brings the June 2021 security Patch and Android 11. The update brings some much-awaited changes like reduced bloatware and the ability to uninstall the system app. For more details and precise changelog for the new build, visit our dedicated article.
- [June 12, 2020]: Xiaomi has announced that it's POCO F2 Pro will get Android 11 Beta 1 soon. Android 11 beta release for the device will have an MIUI custom skin on top. There is no information about the MIUI version yet. It will be cleared in the coming few days. In the future, we might see some more phones on the list that are getting Android 11 beta. The updates are spinning out in a phased manner which means they will roll out to certain users initially. After the successful verification, everyone will be getting it within a week. You can also check the update status manually by navigating to Settings > Software updates > Check for updates.
