OnePlus 9 & OnePlus 9 Pro picks up OxygenOS 11.2.9.9 update

OnePlus is constant in releasing updates for its current premium flagship— the OnePlus 9 series. To polish the user experience and reduce the system lags, the company is sending another software update to the flagship. The new build for the OnePlus 9 & OnePlus 9 Pro brings OxygenOS 11.2.9.9.

The latest update for the OnePlus 9 & OnePlus 9 Pro is presently rolling out in India, Europe, and North America. or the OnePlus 9 smartphone, it appears with the firmware version 11.2.9.9.LE25DA for Indian users. While the number varies to 11.2.9.9.LE25BA for European users. For the North American model, it arrives on version 11.2.9.9.LE25AA.

Forthcoming to the OnePlus 9 Pro, the OxygenOS 11.2.9.9 update for Indian variants bears the version number 11.2.9.9.LE15DA. Whereas, the Europe and North American regions are experiencing it with build number 11.2.9.9.LE15BA and 11.2.9.9.LE15AA​ respectively.

According to the changelog, the new software bumps the security patch to September 2021. Also, it optimizes the wireless charging experience and resolves some known issues, and improves system stability. The major attraction of the update is the newly added XPan Mode to the camera app which the update log explains as:

The OTA update will be initially available only to a limited number of users. A broader rollout will begin in a few days. Meanwhile, the user can head over to Software updates under the Settings menu and track the update manually.
