The successor of Oppo Reno 7 series is in the works and is rumored to launch later this month in China. The Oppo Reno 8 series can include four smartphones: Reno 8, Reno 8 Pro, Reno 8 Pro+, and Reno 8 Lite/SE. Ahead of any official announcement, the Oppo Reno 8 Pro+ 5G has managed to leak online. As per leaks, the top-tier smartphone from the Oppo Reno 8 series will feature a punch-hole display. The smartphone will reportedly flaunt a 6.7-inch Full HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. In addition, it is tipped to come with a premium aluminum frame, making it weigh about 183 grams and 7.34mm thick.
Under the hood, the Reno 8 Pro+ is likely to draw power from a MediaTek Dimensity 8100-MAX SoC. On the software front, the device will run Android 12 out of the box along with a layer of ColorOS 12.1 on top.
For optics, the Reno 8 Pro+ is rumored to carry a triple rear camera setup led by a 50MP Sony IMX766 main camera. The other lenses could include an 8MP ultrawide unit and a 2MP macro sensor. At the front, a 32MP camera snapper can serve selfies and video calls.
In addition, the phone is suggested to pack a 4,500 mAh battery with an 80W fast charging support. The other leaked specifications include dual speakers, NFC support, and three color options: Grey, Black, and Green.
