OnePlus has rolled out a new update to its two Nord smartphones, i.e., the OnePlus Nord 2 and Nord CE 2. The devices are upgrading with OxygenOS A.13 which is rolling out for Indian users. OnePlus says that the update is incremental and comes with the build number IV2201_11_A.13. It is a minor update weighing around 250MB, meaning it doesn't bring many changes. The update brings the June 2022 security patch to the smartphone. Apart from this, it also increases the system stability of the device.

Earlier this month, OnePlus pushed the May 2022 security patch for the OnePlus Nord CE 2 smartphone. Anyway, since it is rolling out Over the Air (OTA), it will take some to reach every unit of the OnePlus Nord CE 2. Head to Settings and check if the update has reached your smartphone. The Indian users who can't wait for the OTA update can download it from here and update it using the Oxygen updater.
OnePlus Nord 2 update for Android 12 users
OnePlus has been pushing some updates to the OnePlus Nord 2 users and confusing us. First, it pushed the stable Android 12 (OxygenOS 12) update to the smartphone. Since the Android 12 will take some time to reach all the units, OnePlus pushed an update to the device last week. It upgraded the security patch to June 2022. The update went live for the Indian & European users who run on OxygenOS 11. The stable OxygenOS 12 update went live for Indian users with C.04 build number. It was a huge update that came with a ton of changes. OnePlus has started rolling out a new update based on Android 12 and comes with build number C.05. It is live for the Indian users who'd updated to C.04.
The update bumps up the security patch to May 2022 and also brings a fix for many issues. OnePlus also improves the camera app with this update. It will consume less power and will not crash. OnePlus also fixes many issues relating to misplaced icons. They also fixed the abnormal pop-up window that used to pop up along with the power button. The update is rolling out as OTA and will take some time to reach every unit of the OnePlus Nord 2.
