OnePlus 7 Series gets a new update with June 2022 Security Patch

The Oneplus 7 series are scheduled to reach the stable Android 12 milestone in a few months. Meanwhile, the company is delivering a new software update based on OxygenOS 11. The entire OnePlus 7 series— OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro, including the T-Mobile variants— OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7T Pro is picking up a new update with OxygenOS 11.0.9.1.

The statement was made official via the OnePlus community post for respective models. As per the post, the update is rolling out in Europe and North America for the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro. For the European models, the build carries version number 11.0.9.1.GM57BA for the OnePlus 7 and 11.0.9.1.GM21BA for the OnePlus 7 Pro. While the NA units will bump with version 11.0.9.1.GM57AA and 11.0.9.1.GM21AA respectively.
Moving to the T-Mobile versions, the package is making its way to India, Europe, and North America. For the OnePlus 7T, the update arrives via the firmware version 11.0.9.1.HD65AA in India and NA. while the European models are upgrading with 11.0.9.1.HD65BA.



On the other hand, the OnePlus 7T Pro is grabbing version 11.0.9.1.HD01AA for Indian models and NA variants. Whereas the number varies to 11.0.9.1.HD01BA for the European units.





Regarding changes, the changelog is crisp and the same for all smartphones. The build does not pack any new significant changes. However, after flashing the new software, the system security patch will be upgraded to June 2022. In addition, it improves system stability as well.

The package is having an incremental rollout for the OnePlus 7 series. Therefore, it will make way for limited users initially. In the meantime, you can head to Settings > Software update to give it a manual check.
