A new Galaxy A series smartphone seems to be in the pipeline. The Samsung Galaxy A04 has made an appearance on the FCC certification website. The phone will reportedly make its debut in select markets in the coming weeks. However, there are no official words from the company yet. Meanwhile, here are the specifications, features, and other details leaked via the FCC listing.

Samsung Galaxy A04 will sit over the Galaxy A03 that was launched last year in November. Also, the budget smartphone offering might launch in various markets soon. As revealed by the FCC portal, the device bears the model number SM-A045M. Considering the model number, we could say that the phone will be a single-SIM variant.
Although we can expect the company to introduce a dual-SIM variant as well. In that case, the device will arrive with the model number SM-A045M/DS. In addition to this, the FCC certifications reveal the battery capacity and connectivity options.
The Galaxy A04 will have a typical battery rating of 5000 mAh. However, the rated battery capacity is 4900 mAh. Also, a charging adapter with the model number EP-TA20JWE was used for the testing. This suggests that the handset is likely to support 15W fast charging. Besides, the connectivity options on board will include WiFi 2.4GHz and WiFi 5GHz.
To recall, the same device was also spotted on the WiFi Alliance website, revealing the operating system. On the software front, the Galaxy A04 will boost Android 12 out of the box. With this Android version, we can also expect a layer of One UI 4.0 on top.
