Asus unwrapped the ROG Phone 6 Series in July 2022 featuring an IPX4 rated 6.78 inches AMOLED 1B colors display. Underneath, the ROG Phone 6 and ROG Phone 6 Pro are powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. For software, they boost Android 12 out of the box. In optics department, there's a 50MP + 13MP + 5MP rear camera module and a 12MP front unit. The Pro model is different from the vanilla one as it is available in up to 18GB RAM and 512GB of internal storage. In addition, it supports Asus’ ROG Vision display on the back, while the basic variant flaunts an illuminated RGB logo.

- [July 15, 2022]: Asus is releasing the first software update for the ROG Phone 6 and ROG Phone 6 Pro with firmware version 32.2810.2205.63. The package brings the May 2022 security patch. In addition, it resolves a few issues, including poor call quality, abnormal signals when navigating with Google Maps, and more. Check out the official changelog below for precise details.

As this is the initial rollout of the update, it usually takes a couple of days to hit all the units. Meanwhile, you can also head over the Settings > Software updates and check for updates to manually check the status of the update.
