Nothing Phone (1) Lite could be in the works, specs leaked

Not even a month ago, Nothing unveiled its first smartphone in the market dubbed Phone (1). Reportedly, despite working on the next bracket number model, the company is preparing a Lite version. The Nothing Phone (1) Lite seems to be in the works as the next device in the lineup with a budget price tag.

As the name suggests, the Nothing Phone (1) Lite will be an inferior version of the vanilla model. In terms of design, the upcoming device will be almost identical to the existing one. However, it will lack a couple of features. The LED layout on the back, known as the Glyph interface is missing. In addition, it lacks wireless charging support as well. Skipping these features down will cut the device's cost, hence, defining the 'Lite' moniker.

Moreover, the reports reveal that the Nothing Phone (1) Lite will pack a larger 5,000 mAh battery. The power cell is likely to support 33W rapid charging. Although it is tipped to ship with a 42W charger out of the box. Furthermore, the approaching handset may arrive in a 6GB RAM option paired with 128GB of internal storage.

Apart from the aforementioned specifications, the rest of the details remain under cover. But as mentioned, it will share some specs with the first phone. Nevertheless, the reports claim that the Phone (1) Lite can make its debut in India during the festive season. Lastly, it is speculated to cost ₹24,999.
