Redmi Note 9 Pro receives Android 12-based MIUI 13 update

Xiaomi is kicking off the Android 12– based MIUI 13 skin iteration for its eligible devices since January. So far, the brand has come down a long road. The latest smartphone to get the refreshed version of mobile software is Redmi Note 9 Pro. This will be the second major update for the device, as it was launched back in April 2020 with Android 10 out of the box.

The latest software update for the Redmi Note 9 Pro can be identified by the firmware version V13.0.1.0.SJZMIXM. As of now, the package is rolling out in the Global market.  It will eventually expand to more regions in the next few days. 

As for changes, the changelog claims to improve the system security by integrating the July 2022 security patch. In addition to this, the build optimizes the mind map nodes and enhances accessibility support for phone, clock, and weather apps. Also, the overall system stability is improved. Needless to say, Android 12 arrives with a new personalized UI and extensive features. Likewise, the MIUI 13 richness will provide you with a smoother experience than ever before.
