Samsung rolls out Android 12 update to Galaxy Tab A8 in Europe

Samsung is testing the One UI 5.0 beta for some of its high-end and mid-range flagships. Until then, the company is still delivering the Android 12 update to its eligible smartphones. On that note, Galaxy Tab A8 is receiving a new major software update based on One UI 4.0. For the record, the device was launched back in January with Android 11 pre-installed. This will make it the first Android update for the handset.

The latest software update is rolling out for the LTE variants of the budgeted Galaxy Tab A8. As of now, the package is rolling out in multiple European countries with firmware version X205XXU1BVI6. The list includes Austria, Bulgaria, France, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Luxembourg, Nordic countries, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Southeast Europe, Spain, Switzerland, the Baltic region, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom.

Needless to say, the company has tossed the operating system with its own custom skin iteration, One UI 4.0. Together, the package provides you with all the control of your handset. That means you can customize your phone, control your privacy, and do more to make your device more personalized. Also, it brings the Material You theme that coordinates the entire UI depending upon your wallpaper.
