Garmin Hybrid Smartwatch appears on FCC, launch imminent

After the launch of the Garmin Venu Sq 2, the company is gearing up to introduce a new smartwatch. A new FCC listing suggest that a Garmin Hybrid Smartwatch is underway. Here's what we know about the upcoming wearable so far.

The FCC listing of the upcoming Garmin smartphone reveals the model number A04348. In addition, it confirms a few details, including connectivity options, battery onboard, charging capacity, and more.

Like every wireless communication device, it offers Bluetooth, NFC, GPS, and more. A 221 mAh battery will keep the system working bearing the 361-00157-00 model number. The power unit will be backed up by a 5W charging cable that can be identified with 320-01069-10 model number.

Besides the above mentioned details, the FCC website does not disclose any further details. Although we do have some more specs. For the record the same Garmin Smartwatch was spotted on the Singaporean telecoms agency website. The TLA portal confirmed a few specs as well. However, the name is still under cover.

It divulages that the upcoming Garmin Smartwatch will be a multisports wearable. Even so, there's not much other information that slipped. It did confirm the presence of ANT+ and Bluetooth onboard. Moroever, the watch will not be equipped with Wi-Fi connectivity.
