Google Play System update for December 2022 is here

To improve your smartphone's security and privacy, Google pushes its patch update for the Play System every month. Along with improving security, it also brings new features to the devices. Google combines updates for the Android operating system, Google Play Store, and Google Play services. All these are combined and known as Google Play System. It will be available for all Android devices, including phones, tablets, Android TV, Google TV devices, and many more. It brings fixes, features, and improvements to Google’s applications.

The December 2022 update for Google Play System fixes bugs relating to Account Management, Security, and related services. Google adds a feature that will help you discover the Apps & Games you love. It also brings optimizations for faster and more reliable installation, and improvements for Play Protect to increase security. 



Google updates Cast related settings and reduces delays in discovering contacts via Nearby share. It will also help users in casting on Tablets. Google added a beta feature allowing users from selected US states to digitize their state ID/driver's license into the Google Wallet. To check whether your device has received the update, head to the Google Play Service update page on Google Play Store. It will display an update option if your device needs an update. Always update to the latest version for security improvements.
