March Security Update is Rolling Out on Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge in US

Android March security patch is rolling out on Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge. Google’s Nexus devices and BlackBerry’s Priv already received. Its just one week when both Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge are released in US.

T-Mobile Galaxy S7 update carries a build number of “UVS2APB8”, Verizon comes with build number “VRS2APB4”. Moreover AT&T Galaxy S7 also gets the update. This update contains genral security improvements.


NOTE: Nexus Devices are getting one issues with fingerprint sensors after the March Security update.

Lenovo K3 Note is getting Android 6.0 marshmallow update, Customers in India can checkout for OTA notifications.


Lenovo Product manager in January teased an image of the Beta build on Lenovo K3 Note. But till now there is not any information about the marshmallow update release date. Now Android Marshmallow comes build number K50a40_S322_160314_ROW and the update weighs 1657MB. If you doesn’t get the OTA notification than check it manually by going through the setting.

Samsung Starts Rolling Out Marshmallow to its Galaxy S6 and S6 edge in India

Samsung currently rolling out Android 6.0 Marshmallow update to it last year flagship devices Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge in India. Earlier in a day Company makes it Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge for purchasing without pre-orders in India.




This Update weighs 1.2 GB in size, so to download this update get on to the WIFI. Now coming to the features which this update includes are Doze, advanced app permissions, and Google Now on Tap contextual search. Samsung has a few tweaks of its own too, including a new web browser, TouchWiz user interface adjustments, and more convenient quick toggles.

Samsung Starts Rolling Out Marshmallow to its Galaxy S6 and S6 edge in India

Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge are Available to Purchase in India

Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge are available to purchase in India through company’s official online store and through Flipkart. Both these devices are announced in MWC 2016 at Barcelona last month. Earlier both the devices are up for pre-orders in India from March 8.

Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge will costs you Rs.48,900($733) and Rs 56,900($855) respectively.  Both the phones are available in all three color variants i.e. Gold, Silver or Black. Currently these devices are only available through the official Samsung store and through flipkart. Although Smartphones will be available on other stores in the future as well.

Google Photos Update Brings Video Fast Forward and Rewind Feature

Google has issued an update to the Google Photos app with some minor improvements and features. Google has added quite minor feature that was absent from the Google Photos since its launch.

Someone seems to have made a silly mistake of not providing this feature in the video section of the Google Photos. The app adds buttons for rewinding and fast-forwarding video, with each button jumping you 10 seconds into their respective directions.

Chrome for Android Changes to Old Tabs Style

Chrome for Android is here with some old feature and is equipped with some new performance tweaks. Yes, some old features, Google Chrome has added that old view of tabs in the latest update.

Google Chrome has added “Merge tabs and apps” option under Chrome’s Settings menu which will change the default view of tabs along with recent apps to the only Chrome view tabs.


The move appears to walk back one of the major changes of the Lollipop era, where Chrome took advantage of new APIs in Android 5.0. There are further changes that has been embedded into the latest app of the Chrome.


To change the settings just hover to the overview menu — just hit the menu button in Chrome (the three-dots icon), then tap Settings > Merge tabs and apps.
