Talking about the specifications of the device, it features a 6.3-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. Vivo V20 launched in India at starting price of Rs. 24,990

Vivo has officially unveiled a new smartphone named V20 in its V series. The brand new Vivo V20 becomes the first device in India to pack with Android 11 out of the box. In the Vivo V20 launch event, the company has also announced that Vivo V20 SE will be launched soon in the country.



Vivo V20 features a 6.44-inch FHD+ display with 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by an Octa-core processor based Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G SoC Chipset paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB/ 256GB onboard storage. Nevertheless, it can be expandable up to 1TB with a microSD card.


Coming to the central part – the camera, it sports a triple rear camera that compromises of 64-MP primary sensor + 8-MP secondary sensor and a 2-MP monochrome sensor. On the front, there’s a 44-MP camera for selfies and video calling. Some of the camera features include 4K Selfie Video, Super Night Selfie 2.0, Slo-Mo Selfie Video, Multi-Style Portrait, etc.


The device runs Android 11 based Funtouch OS 11 (Skin) out of the box and houses a 4,000 mAh battery with 33W FlashCharge support. In connectivity options, there’s Bluetooth 5.1, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C port, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi etc. Moreover, there’s an in-display fingerprint scanner.

  • The device comes in Midnight Jazz, Sunset Melody and Moonlight Sonata color options. In-price, it costs Rs. 24,990 for 8GB + 128GB storage variant and Rs. 27,990 for 8GB + 256GB storage variant.

OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro Start Receiving Android 11-Based OxygenOS 11 Update

To recall, in the month of September, OnePlus has started testing the OxygenOS 11 open beta for OnePlus 8 series. Now, the company has begun rolling out the Android-11 based OxygenOS 11 Stable version update for the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro smartphones. The update is arriving on the OxygenOS 11.IN11DA Firmware version and it comes with a bunch of changelog. As of now, the update is limited to Indian users only and will be released shortly in the other countries too.

What’s new?


Talking about the changelog, the update brings new add-ons, Fresh new UI visual design and optimizations. The new add-ons include gaming tools box for convenient switches, quick reply feature in a small window for social apps, mis-touch prevention feature, Always-on ambient Display function, Insight clock style, 10 new clock styles, shortcut key for Dark Mode, 5 new themes (ocean, space, grassland, and so on), and much more.


The company has also said that OxygenOS 11 will be released shortly in the upcoming days for OnePlus 7T Pro, OnePlus 7T, OnePlus 7Pro, OnePlus 7, OnePlus 6T, OnePlus 6 and OnePlus Nord smartphones.
