Mi 10 Lite Zoom receiving MIUI 12 based Android 11 stable update

After the fruitful rollout of the MIUI 12 update to the wide range of various gadgets, Xiaomi has started seeding out the MIUI 12 based Android 11 stable update to the Mi 10 Lite Zoom. The update bears the V12.1.3.0.RJVCNXM Firmware version as of now, it is currently limited to Chinese users only.

What’s new?


The changelog/ release note of the update houses the new features and changes of Android 11 that include new UI, Quick access to smart devices, Built-in screen recording, etc. & more changes to the system. Along with Android 11, this update also comes with the October 2020 Security patch update. So, this update is meant to improve the smartphone’s performance and the Security patch level.


As this is the update’s initial rollout, it ordinarily takes a couple of days to reach all the units. In the meanwhile, you can also navigate to Settings>Software updates and check for updates to check the update status manually.

Moto G9 Power launched in India with 6,000mAh Battery at Rs. 11,999

A couple of days back, Lenovo owned Motorola has launched the Moto G9 Power in Europe at a price tag of EUR 199 (Approx. Rs. 17,790). Today, the company has launched the same device in India at a very less price of Rs. 11,999. Talking about the key specifications, the device sports a hole-punch display, IP52-rated water-repellent build, and two colour shades.

The dual Nano-SIM Moto G9 features a 6.8-inch HD+ IPS display with a resolution of 720 x 1640 pixels and a 20.5:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, it is powered by an octa-core processor based Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 SoC out of the box. The device comes with 4GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage. Furthermore, it can be expandable upto 128GB with a microSD card port.


Coming to the main part, the camera – it houses with a triple rear camera setup that includes 64-MP Primary camera with f/1.79 lens aperture, 2-MP Secondary camera with an aperture of f/2.4, and last but not least, 2-MP depth sensor with f/2.4 lens. For selfies and video calling, there’s a 16-MP single front-facing camera.


Moto G9 runs Android 10 out of the box and packs a 6,000mAh battery including 20W fast charging support. The device packs with a fingerprint scanner on the regular rear side just beside the camera on the Moto logo. The device connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11ac, 4G LTE, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, NFC, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The smartphone measures 172.14 x 76.79 x 9.66 mm and weighs 221 grams.

Samsung Galaxy S20 Series starts getting One UI 3.0 update with Android 11

As per the One UI 3.0 update rollout plan, Samsung is rolling out the updates sequentially. After the successful rollout of the One UI 3.0 to Galaxy A50s, A70, and others, the company has now started seeding out the same update to the Galaxy S20 series. The update is rolling out on the G988BXXU5CTKG/ G988BOXM5CTKF/ G988BXXU5CTKF Firmware version, and it weighs nearly 179.82 MB in size.

According to the changelog/ release note, the update adds the December 2020 Security patch, One UI 3.0 goodness, new user interface, improvements to the camera, bug fixes, etc. The changelog of this update is limited, and the company has not added all the changes. However, you will be experiencing all the changes while using your smartphone.

The BBK-owned Chinese smartphone brand – Realme has started seeding out the Android 11 based Realme UI 2.0 Stable version Realme X50 Pro smartphones. The update is hitting all the devices on the RMX2076PU_11.C.16 Firmware version and is currently limited only to Indian users.

Xiaomi Redmi 9 receiving MIUI 12 update along with November 2020 Security patch

After the successful rollout of the MIUI 12 update for all the other smartphones, Xiaomi started seeding out the MIUI 12 update for the Redmi 9 devices. The update is spinning out on the MIUI V12.0.1.0.QJCMIXM Firmware version, and it’s currently rolling out Globally.

What’s new?


As per the changelog, the update appears with the new Control center, optimizations, November 2020 Security patch update, Watermarks, and Fullscreen mode for Camera. Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi has launched the 5G variants of both Redmi Note 9 and Note 9 Pro 5G in its home country China. Talking about the differences, these 5G devices’ specifications are a bit different from the previously launched 4G smartphones.

Talking about the price, Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G starts from CNY 1599 (Approx. Rs. 17,961). Whereas the basic model of Note 9 5G starts from CNY 1299 (Approx. Rs. 14,592). Meanwhile, the Redmi Note 9 4G Edition’s basic model is priced at CNY 999 (Approx. Rs. 11,222).
