Samsung Galaxy S21 FE arrives on FCC with 45W fast charging capacity

Samsung was rumored to launch the Galaxy S21 FE in an Unpacked event on August 19th. However, the production got delayed to Q4 due to some technical reasons. After several render leaks online, the device has managed to arrive on FCC. The listing at the online certification site discloses few specs and key details about the Galaxy S21 FE.

The arrival of Galaxy S21 FE at FCC reveals the model number SM-G990U and SM-G990U1 for the device, depending upon the region. The listing divulges some key details regarding the phone’s connectivity and charging features. In fact, it will ship with a high-end feature that’s even missing on the Galaxy S21 Ultra.

According to FCC documentation, The Galaxy S21 FE will pack a 45W of fast charging capacity (11V, 2.25A or 21V, 2.1A). This power was first debuted with Galaxy Note 10+ and made it to the Galaxy S20 Ultra. However, the company failed to deliver the same even to Galaxy S21 Ultra. But, Samsung is making up for it by having this feature onboard for Galaxy S21FE.

Moreover, the device will support fast wireless charging and reverse wireless charging. Regarding connectivity, Galaxy S21 FE will equip dual-band Wi-Fi b/g/n/ac/ax (Wi-Fi 6), Bluetooth 5.0 (with EDR and LE), NFC, WPT (Wireless Power Transfer), sub-6GHz 5G, and a 4G LTE network support.

The other specs of Galaxy S21 FE could include a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz high refresh rate. Furthermore, the device will power Snapdragon 888 and run One UI 3.1 skin based on Android 11. Galaxy S21 FE is likely to offer a 12MP rear main camera and a 2MP selfie snapper. It is alleged to house a 4,500 mAh Battery.

Nokia 5.4 grabs a new software update with June 2021 security patch

Last year in December, HMD Global unveiled the Nokia 5.4 with the Android 10 operating system. After half a year of launch, the smartphone is getting a new software update. Though the device scheduled to get the latest stable channel. But for some reason, the company decided to bump the Android 10 build with V1.300.

The unfurling of new software has been announced by a company official in an authentic Nokia community post. According to the post, the new Android 10 version update for Nokia 5.4 is currently live in India that weighs 46.75 MB in size. Whereas, the units in other countries will also get similar treatment soon.

Xiaomi sends MIUI 12.5 stable update to Redmi Note 7 Pro

Samsung Galaxy F22 SM-E225F appears at Google Play Console

As per rumors, Samsung is ready to deliver a new F-series handset for the Indian market. This will be the fourth addition to the flagship that recently appeared at Google Play Console. The smartphone is named as Samsung Galaxy F22, which will reportedly debut in India in the second week of July.

Google Messages enables user to Star texts, photos/videos on Android

As we reported earlier, Google has planned to roll out a set of features for several apps. Earlier this month, the software giant released the ability to pin conversation and end-to-end encryption for its messaging app. Now, the long-awaited, Star messages feature is also rolling out for Google Messages on Android.

Now, in order to save a received or sent message, you don't need to screenshot. The ability to star texts and images in Google Messages is rolling out on version 8.4, which is currently in the beta phase. After flashing the update, the user can now Star the text message, photos, or videos to save them.

The starred text or media file will be saved separately under a category called "Starred messages." This feature was announced before as a part of Android’s summer additions series. The ability to star content in Google Messages is now having a wider rollout.

GOOGLE MESSAGES

To Star a text or picture, all you have to do is long-press the message and you will see a 'star' icon at the top-right corner of your screen. Once starred, the text/image/video will have a blue mark at the bottom-right corner.

The new Starring trait in Google Messages will start to roll out more widely in the upcoming weeks.

A few days back, the Samsung Gallery and Notes apps have received new updates with a couple of changes and new features. Now, Samsung has released new updates to a couple of applications, including the Game Launcher, Private Share, SoundAssistant, Digital Wellbeing, and One Hand Operation+.

Game Launcher update


Talking about the Game Launcher's update first, it houses performance improvements, bug fixes and also brings some changes. From now, your games will be grouped automatically. It means you will no longer need to waste your time searching for games or arranging folders. Users can also enjoy instant plays with downloading and as usual. You can enjoy games on your device via the Game launcher.

Private Share


Forthcoming to the private share update, it adds a few changes to the application. Besides the changes, there's nothing new in this update. When installing Private Share, a Private number is automatically generated so that you can use Private Share even on smartphones/tablets without phone numbers. Both Phone numbers and Private numbers can be used, or one number of them can also be selected.

The maximum capacity sum has been changed from 20MB to 100MB. As file capacity increases, Private Share users should be updated App.

SoundAssistant

The new update for the Digital Wellbeing introduces the turn on or off Bedtime mode feature. And it also adds several fixes for some minor bugs.
