[Update: August 2021 Security Patch] Realme V3 Updates Tracker

In September 2020, Realme has officially launched the Realme V3 smartphone. The device features a 6.5-inch IPS LCD with Android 10 based Realme UI underneath. An octa-core processor based Dimensity 720 5G Chipset runs the device paired with up to 128GB of storage and 8GB RAM. In-camera department, there’s a 13MP triple rear sensor and an 8MP single front-facing snapper.

  • [September 2, 2021]: Realme V3 is receiving a new software update with July and August 2021 security patches. Presently, the update is rolling out in China with build version A.20. Additionally, the build optimizes system performance and improves system stability.

  • [March 9, 2021]: The February 2021 security patch is unfurling to the 5G variants of Realme V3. The update arrives on version RMX2175_11_A.28 that is based on Android 10, Realme UI 1.0. Apart from enhanced security, it does not bring any major changes. Currently, the update is only rolling out in the Chinese market, and other countries are set on hold. 


All of these updates are rolling out in batches and it may take a while to reach all units. Meanwhile, you can head over to Settings > Software updates > Check for updates to track the build manually. Also, we suggest you maintain at least 60% battery before flashing any update.

Nubia Red Magic 6S Pro launching on September 6th in China

Nubia is set to launch its latest gaming phone Red Magic 6S Pro on 6th September in China. Red Magic series is a gaming phone series that has been a great success for Nubia. It always comes out as the most powerful smartphone in the market and the new device also promises to deliver the same.



The Information regarding the launch came out by a tweet by Abhishek Yadav(@yabhishekhd) on Twitter this morning. It also mentions the device specifications and some image that reveals the design.

Nubia Red Magic 6S Pro comes with a 6.8 inch FHD+ OLED display with a 720 Hz touch sampling rate. The display is large enough to experience your games and the touch sampling rate just improves it further. Nubia wet with a 4380 mAh battery for the device along with a 120 Watt fast charging support. The 120 Watt fast charging support is a very useful feature for hardcore gamers as it will charge the device quickly and they'll be ready to play again.

Gaming smartphones are always bulky and it is the same with Red Magic 6S Pro. The device measures 9.5mm in thickness and weighs 215 grams. However, the device still looks good with its gamer-centric design. It rocks 450hz Dual independent IC touch shoulder keys for improving the gaming experience.

The Red Magic 6S Pro comes with a triple camera setup on the rear panel with a 64 MP main sensor and an 8 MP sensor on the front panel. It will come with Android 11 onboard with Red Magic's own UI. The RAM options for the device are 8GB, 12GB & 16GB and the storage options are 128GB, 256GB & 512GB. We have to wait for the official launch for the price details of the device.

The pre-release software update for ROG Phone 5s is rolling out with bug fixes

Last month, Asus announced a couple of new addition to the ROG Phone 5 series— ROG Phone 5s and ROG Phone 5s Pro. Before its official launch, the company is already resolving few bugs for the ROG Phone 5s in a pre-release software update.

The first build for the ROG Phone 5s is rolling out through the firmware version WW_18.1220.2107.115. Concluding from the "WW," we can say that the package will unfurl worldwide. Though we are not sure if you have to flash the update after you take your device out of the box or it will arrive pre-installed.

Regarding changes, the software address some bugs that could hinder the user experience. This includes a fix for an issue where the Aura Light for notifications could flicker and where AirTriggers would become insensitive after opening Taobao APP. Moreover, the problem where the charger could seldomly fail to charge the device is also resolved. Additionally, there are a couple of more things taken care of.

Vivo X70 pro arrives on TENAA with full spec details

After the success of the Vivo X60 series, Vivo is ready with its successor. And just like the last time, Vivo is going all out for the series. The Vivo X70 series was rumored for a long time, but now, it finally appeared on TENAA. Vivo X70 Pro which is the top model in the series made its appearance on TENNA along with specifications.

On the front, it features a 32MP lens for selfies and vlogging. Vivo has developed a new Vivo V1 chip for image processing in partnership with ZEISS. And Vivo is going to use this chip in the X70 series.

The device rocks a 6.56" FHD+ 120hz refresh rate AMOLED display with 10bit color. Vivo has always given some of the best-looking devices in the market along with a light and stylish design. The Vivo x70 pro also comes with a very light design with only 7.99mm thickness and a total weight of 185g.

Vivo X70 Pro will come with a 4450 mAh battery and a 44 Watt fast charging support. On the software front, it comes with the latest Android 11 onboard and might receive Android 12 when it goes official. The device comes with 8GB & 12GB RAM options and 128GB, 256GB & 512GB storage options. The official date for the launch is not out yet, so, have to wait for the announcement.

Samsung unveils Galaxy A52S with Snapdragon 778G 5G Soc

Welcoming September, Samsung has finally launched the much-rumored Galaxy A52S 5G. The latest model in the Galaxy A series is a refreshed version of the standard Galaxy A52 5G. Before the launch, we had some leaks with us but with the official announcement, the device has finally come to light.

The Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G features a 6.5-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O Display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The panel has an IP67 rated build offering dust and water resistance protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Additionally, it offers a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and 405 PPI pixel density. It will measure 159.9 x 75.1 x 8.4 mm in dimensions and weigh 189 grams.

Under the hood, the Galaxy A52s runs Android 11 tossed with One UI 3 on top. Further, it equips Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC. The smartphone has 128 GB of internal storage onboard paired with 6 GB/ 8 GB GB of RAM. The storage is further expandable up to 1TB via a microSD card slot.

Huawei Watch 3 series get smart gesture control with the latest update
