[Update: September 2021 security patch] Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+ Updates Tracker

Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+ was launched in August 2020 featuring a 12.4 inch Super AMOLED display. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 5G+ Chipset paired with up to 512GB storage and 8GB RAM.   • [September 20, 2021]: Samsung is releasing the current security maintenance, September 2021 to the Galaxy Tab S7+. The update bears the firmware version T976BXXU2BUI1 and is rolling out in several regions. This includes Austria, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Luxembourg, Nordic countries, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Southeast Europe, Spain, Switzerland, the Baltic region, the Netherlands, and the UK. This is a minor security update so do not expect any other changes or additions.

  • [July 1, 2021]: Samsung has begun seeding the July 2021 Security Patch update to the Galaxy Tab S7+. The build bears the build number T735XXU1AUF4 which is unfurling in Vietnam. Regarding changes, it includes improvements for Camera picture quality and adds the monthly security patch.

  • [March 9, 2021]: The Galaxy Tab S7+ recently receive One UI 3.1 update. The update includes several improvements and features like seamless transitions, smart new camera features, eye-comfort shield, private share, and more. The device gets build T9700XM1BUBB weighing approximately 858.15 MB. Also, it carries the March 2021 security patch and other new attributes as claimed by the brand. You can read the changelog here.

  • [January 20, 2021]: Samsung has started spinning out One UI 3.1 update to the Galaxy Tab S7+ 5G users. The updating is rolling out on the T976NKOU1BUA8 Firmware version that weighs nearly 2.4GB in size. The build carries all the features of Android 11 & One UI 3.1 which you can read here.


As always, the OTA updates are rolling out in batches. Thus, users need to wait for a few days to experience the update. To check the update manually, you can navigate to Settings > Software updates > check for the updates.

In August 2019, Samsung added one more smartphone to the Galaxy A10 flagship— Galaxy A10s with Android 9 (pie). The phone features a 6.2-inch screen paired with up to 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage. An octa-core processor-based Mediatek Helio P22 chipset powers the device under the hood.   • [September 20, 2021]: Samsung is releasing the September 2021 security patch to the Galaxy A10s. The update is rolling out in Ecuador via the firmware version A107MUBU5CUH1. Besides, it also brings device stability and several general bug fixes. 

  • [July 8, 2021]: The Galaxy A10s is receiving the Android 11 update in Malaysia and Vietnam. The build arrives via firmware version A107FXXU8CUG1. Along with the current stable operating channel comes the July 2021 Android security patch. With several fixes and optimizations, the patch also addresses the much-reported Android-auto bug.   • [June 18, 2020]: Samsung starts rolling out June 2020 security patch for Galaxy A10s in Malaysia. The update comes with the firmware version A107FXXU6BTF1. It brings bug fixes that were posted last month in Samsung & Google community forums, Security loophole fixes, and the latest security patch. OnePlus 9 & OnePlus 9 Pro picks up OxygenOS 11.2.9.9 update

OnePlus is constant in releasing updates for its current premium flagship— the OnePlus 9 series. To polish the user experience and reduce the system lags, the company is sending another software update to the flagship. The new build for the OnePlus 9 & OnePlus 9 Pro brings OxygenOS 11.2.9.9.

The latest update for the OnePlus 9 & OnePlus 9 Pro is presently rolling out in India, Europe, and North America. or the OnePlus 9 smartphone, it appears with the firmware version 11.2.9.9.LE25DA for Indian users. While the number varies to 11.2.9.9.LE25BA for European users. For the North American model, it arrives on version 11.2.9.9.LE25AA.

Forthcoming to the OnePlus 9 Pro, the OxygenOS 11.2.9.9 update for Indian variants bears the version number 11.2.9.9.LE15DA. Whereas, the Europe and North American regions are experiencing it with build number 11.2.9.9.LE15BA and 11.2.9.9.LE15AA​ respectively.

WhatsApp mute videos feature is finally unfurling to iOS beta users

This year in February, WhatsApp introduced a mute video feature for Android beta users. After almost seven months, the feature is now finally making its way to the iOS beta users. The option will also be accompanied by a new design. However, we have no words regarding the stable rollout of the update.

The beta users on iOS can finally see a redesigned toggle to convert video to a gif and a mute video option. Also, the size of the video is immediately updated every time the user tries to edit the video. The mute video feature is live for all iOS beta users. In another case, you may have to wait a while for the next update which will have the feature on board.

Maiden update for ROG Phone 5s adds September 2021 patch and fixes

Asus added a couple of new addition to the ROG Phone 5 series last month— ROG Phone 5s and ROG Phone 5s Pro. It's almost a month since the announcement and the ROG Phone 5s is receiving a maiden update. The package adds the current security maintenance and resolves a few bugs.

Nokia G50 5G arrives on FCC with 4850 mAh battery, 10W charging

Last month, Nokia's official French account accidentally posted a device— Nokia G50 5G. Earlier this month, the smartphone surfaced on Geekbench and TENAA. And now, the phone has arrived on the FCC website hinting at an imminent launch. Here's what we know about the upcoming smartphone by HMD Global.

The FCC listing reveals the key details about the connectivity, battery, charging details, and more. As per the listing, the device will have model numbers TA-1390 and TA-1370 depending upon the region. Nokia G50 5G will pack a 4,850 mAh battery with model number P660. Also, it will support 10W charging as revealed by the website. For connectivity purposes, the phone will have various WiFi and 5G bands onboard.



Talking about the design, the Nokia G50 5G will have a schematic design. Concluding, the handset is likely to have a power-cum-side-mounted fingerprint scanner and volume buttons on the right edge. On the other side, there's another button that can be used to invoke the Google Assistant.
