OnePlus 6 and 6T bumps to OxygenOS 11.1.2.2 update

In August 2021, OnePlus released the Android 11 based OxygenOS 11 to the OnePlus 6 and 6T. Unfortunately, the flagship is not eligible for the OxygenOS 12 update based on Android 12. Still, the company leaves no chance to give a bump to the current version. After OxygenOS 11.1.1.1, the devices are grabbing the OxygenOS 11.1.2.2 update.

The latest OxygenOS 11.1.2.2 update for the OnePlus 6 and 6T is rolling out to the international versions while the global units will join the group soon. As far as changes are concerned, the package does not carry any UI refreshments or significant changes, or any new additions.

However, as we know, minor upgrades are essential to ensure the smooth functioning of the device. This software resolves various severe system-related bugs and issues that the users reported on the previous stable build. Moreover, it increases the system privacy by upgrading the security maintenance to November 2021.

Galaxy Note 10 series joins the One UI 4.0 beta group

Now that the Galaxy S21 series is operating the stable One UI 4.0, Samsung is extending the beta program to more of its flagships. Ahead of the company's leaked schedule, the Galaxy Note 10 series is entering the One UI 4.0 beta stage in its home country.

Both Galaxy Note 10 and the Galaxy Note 10+ are joining the Android 12 based One UI 4.0 beta program. As expected, only South Korean units of the series are eligible to participate in the beta build. While the other markets like India, China, and the US could also get it soon.



As always, all you need to do is visit the Samsung Members app. Therein, tap on the One UI Beta Program banner on the home page and tap enroll button at the end of the page. After enrolling, flash the One UI 4.0 beta via Settings > Software update > Download and install.


Concerning changes, there is no official changelog by the company. However, the One UI 4.0 will bring numerous enhancements and new features. The duo will get the new Material You design by Google with a redesigned UI. Moreover, Samsung is releasing the virtual RAM Plus feature to the Galaxy Note 10 series for the first time with this update. This means you can make use of up to 4GB of your internal storage to act like RAM.




Note: This is a beta update. we recommend you take a backup of your important files and data before flashing the beta build. The reason being it could carry a lot of bugs, hindering the user experience.

Google adds Pixel 6 duo and more devices to the official ARCore support list

As per the behavior, Google has added a list of devices that will join the official ARCore support list. Augmented reality permits users to use physical objects in virtual reality to create a mixed actuality situation through the different phone components.

The cheapest 5G handset by Samsung is finally here only for $249.99! The Galaxy A13 5G has made its debut in the USA and will be available online from AT&T on December 3 followed by T-Mobile in January. The Samsung Galaxy A13 5G will feature a 6.5-inch LCD with a V-shaped notch at the top. The panel offers a 90Hz refresh rate and a 720x1600 pixel resolution. Also, it measures 164.5 x 76.5 x 8.8mm in dimensions.

Underneath, it fuels an octa-core processor based on MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset paired with Mali G57 GPU. Chrome OS 96 bring Camera improvements and Nearby Share support

Every four weeks, Chrome OS gets a new update refining the user experience. Similar is the case this time with the latest version— Chrome OS 96. The new update brings along numerous features and other changes. Let's take a look at the details.

Besides the minor changes, Chrome OS 96 is prepared to deliver several improvements on the camera front and add the Nearby Share support. For the camera section, the latest version adds a native document scanner that can convert images to JPG or PDF. After updating, you will get a “Scan” tab where the QR code section was placed before. Also, it will detect edges that will be adjustable.

Additionally, you can now also control the angle and crop picture via Pan-Tilt-Zoom if you are using an external camera. For this, there's a D-Pad section on the left portion. Moreover, Chrome OS 96 brings support for Nearby Share that can be accessed via Android apps. Also, you can share sheets that were earlier limited to system apps, Progressive Web Apps, and the Files app.
