Precisely, for the Galaxy S21 Ultra, Adobe has added support for the two 10MP telephoto rear-facing lenses. While for the Galaxy Z Fold 3, it adds three 12MP cameras at the backside each serving as main, ultrawide, telephoto sensor respectively. Besides these two smartphones, several older Galaxy flagships already support RAW photos in the Lightroom app.
For the unaware, the RAW camera allows the user to edit the image by adjusting settings like exposure, white balance, and saturation, and more. The versions supported for Adobe Lightroom and Lightroom Classic are 14.1 and 11.1 respectively. The Adobe Camera extension allows to process RAW images for several Adobe apps, including Lightroom, After Effects, Photoshop, and more.
To recall, almost a month ago, Samsung released its own RAW camera app in South Korea. The app enables the Galaxy S21 Ultra's user to use the primary, ultrawide, 3x telephoto, and 10x telephoto shooters in Pro mode. Also, the company rolled out an Expert RAW update last week which bought UI improvements while opening images in Adobe Lightroom.
