Moto G22 bags several certifications, launch seems imminent

The Lenovo-owned company is adding one more smartphone to its G-series flagship. The Moto G22 has made an appearance on several certification platforms, including Geekbench, NBTC, EEC, and FCC. As per the leaks, the Moto G22 is a mid-range phone built around a 6.5-inch IPS LCD HD+ resolution display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Further, it suggests the presence of MediaTek Helio G37 chipset under the hood. To mention, the processor was first used by the company on the Moto G Power (2022) that launched last year.

Further, the Moto G22 is likely to arrive in a single storage configuration of 64 GB paired with 4 GB of RAM. Though the memory can be expanded via a dedicated microSD card slot. On the software front, it may offer the latest Android 12 OS out of the box. In addition, the device can be backed up by a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging.

For shooting purposes, the Moto G22 is alleged to house a 16 MP front-facing camera. On the other side, the phone can carry a 50 MP triple rear camera. The other lenses could include an 8 MP ultrawide unit and a 2 MP macro or depth sensor.

The Moto G22 is likely to arrive in three colors variants of Cosmic Black, Iceberg Blue, and White. It may cost $228 (~€200/ ₹15,000).

Realme X7 Max 5G enters Realme UI 3.0 Beta 4 stage

It's been a couple of months since Realme initiated the Realme UI 3.0 beta program for the Realme X7 Max. As with every beta build, the package was filled with bugs and glitches. The testers were facing numerous problems across the system. After taking the user's feedback, the company is now releasing another beta update that eliminates these bugs. Also, as the program has reached its fourth stage, the final push is near.

The fourth beta of Realme UI 3.0 based on Android 12 is live for the early access users of Realme X7 Max 5G. The build arrives on the firmware version RMX3031_11_C.04 which is currently rolling out in India.

As mentioned, the package squashes the bugs present in the last beta. This includes issues related to the power button, volume, navigation, and systems. Moreover, Realme claims to fix a handful of the glitches reported by the beta users, including ringtone not working for the incoming calls in some scenarios. In addition, the last beta intends to ease the user experience and bring stability to the system.


However, do keep in mind that this is also a beta build. Thus, you can experience a few lags but those will be resolved with the final update. Also, the company asks users to take a backup of important data to reduce risk.

The Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G becomes the next device to get the Android 12 based MIUI 13 update globally. However, the software is available only for the pilot testers as of now. The general users can flash the build in the coming days after the testers successfully test the software and ensure the absence of critical bugs.

Anyway, the 3.2 GB-sized update bumps the firmware number to V13.0.2.0.SKIMIXM. Concerning changes, the update log does not mention any significant change besides increasing the system’s security and stability. Realme GT 2 & GT 2 Pro confirmed to launch globally

Last month, the Realme GT 2 series was launched in China as the first-ever flagship smartphone by the company. At that time, Realme confirmed that the devices will soon make way for international markets. The Realme GT 2 lineup is approved to hit the global markets in March. To recall, the Indian and global editions of the models were recently spotted at the Google Play Console, hinting at an imminent launch.

Regarding specifications, the Realme GT 2 is built around a 6.62-inch AMOLED FHD+ display with a layer of Gorilla Glass 5. The panel offers an under-display fingerprint scanner and a 120Hz refresh rate. Underneath, it runs the Snapdragon 888 chipset paired with up to 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage.

In addition, the device offers Android 12 OS out of the box paired with Realme UI 3.0 on top. For shooting, the Realme GT 2 carries a 50 MP triple rear camera and a single 16 MP unit on the front. Under the hood, Realme GT 2 Pro powers Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. For optics, the smartphone houses a 32 MP front camera and a triple rear unit led by a 50 MP sensor. Accompanying this is a 50 MP ultrawide and a 3 MP microscope camera.

Poco M4 Pro 5G with Dimensity 810 SoC unveils in India for ₹14,999

Xiaomi's sub-brand Poco just added one more smartphone to its Indian market bucket. The Poco M4 Pro 5G debuted in November 2021 has made an entry in the country today. It is the successor of the Poco M3 Pro 5G launched last year in June.

Poco M4 Pro 5G flaunts a 6.6-inch  FullHD+ 90Hz LCD with a layer of Gorilla Glass 3. The panel features a punch-hole design with a 90Hz refresh rate, a 240Hz touch sampling rate, and DCI-P3 wide color gamut. It measures 163.56 x 75.78 x 8.75mm in dimensions and weighs 195 grams.

On the software front, the Poco M4 Pro 5G boosts Android 11 out of the box paired with MIUI 12.5 on top. Under the hood, it draws power from MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC. The device offers up to 128GB of storage and 8GB of RAM. Also, the configuration can be extended up to 1TB via a microSD card and virtual RAM expansion feature.

In the optics, Poco M4 Pro 5G houses a dual rear camera and a single 16 MP front-facing shooter. On the back, an 8 MP ultrawide unit accompanies the 50 MP primary lens. A 5,000mAh battery keeps the system working with the support of 33W Pro fast charging over a USB Type-C port.
