Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G and Galaxy Fold are receiving the latest One UI 4.1 update

Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G, launched in 2020 was the first Fan Edition device in the Galaxy S lineup. It came with all the flagship features like the Galaxy S20 series but at a lower cost. The device became people's favorite in a very short time and is still considered one of the best all-round you can find in the segment. On the other hand, the Galaxy Fold was the first foldable smartphone by Samsung. Both of these devices are two years old now, and still receiving the latest updates from Samsung. Recently both the devices have started receiving the latest One Ui 4.1 update in various regions.

One UI 4.1 update

The update on the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE carries the firmware version G781BXXU4FVC and the latest March 2022 security patch. The major changes from the updates are the fix for the Game Optimization service and other new features like Smart Widget and Expanded RAM Plus. There are many other optimizations and bug fixes included in the latest update. The update is live in Europe now and is only available for the 5G variants of the device. The 4G variant still has to wait a little longer.



The update on the Galaxy Fold carries the firmware version F90xxXXU6VCE and is life in France and United Kingdom for now. The 4G variant of the device is receiving the update in France currently, while the 5G variant is receiving the latest One UI 4.1 in the United Kingdom.

If you hold a Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G or Galaxy Fold 4G or 5G in the respective regions mentioned above, you might soon receive the update notification. For shooting purposes, the Poco X4 Pro 5G houses a 16 MP front-facing camera for selfies and video chats. On the rear side, there's a triple camera setup led by a 64 MP primary unit. Accompanying this are an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2 MP shooter.



A 5,000mAh battery keeps the system working with 67W fast charging support over a USB Type-C port. For security, there's a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The other specifications include 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, an IR blaster, a 3.5mm audio jack, and dual stereo speakers.

Realme Q3 Pro starts receiving the new Realme UI 3.0

Realme UI is Realme's own skin for Android. It provides a list of features to the realme devices making them a solid competitor in the market. Xiaomi 12 Lite arrives on Geekbench with Snapdragon 778G 5G SoC

Last year, Xiaomi launched the Mi 12 series in China. The lineup includes three models Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12X, and Xiaomi 12 Pro. Considering the company's nature now, is time for the Lite model. The Xiaomi 12 Lite has arrived on the Geekbench benchmark database, shedding light on some of its key specifications. Let's take a closer look at the upcoming smartphone.

As per the Geekbench benchmark certification website, the Xiaomi 12 Lite bears the model number 2203129G. Concluding from the model, it seems to be an international variant that can debut soon in the global markets. Also, the phone has managed to score 788 points in the single-core test and 2864 points in the multi-core round.

In addition, the portal discloses that the Xiaomi 12 Lite will power an octa-core processor integrated with an Adreno 642L GPU. The processor is codenamed ‘Taoyao‘ and has a 2.4GHz peak frequency. Figuring the tips, it appears to be Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chipset.



Moreover, the Xiaomi 12 Lite will come pre-installed with Android 12 OS. With this version, we can expect a toss of MIUI 13 as well. Also, the device will have an 8GB memory variant as revealed by the Geekbench listing. It could be available in other configurations as well.

Android 12 QPR3 Beta 1.1 patch issues for the Pixel 6 series

A couple of weeks ago, Google released the first beta build of Android 12 Quarterly Platform Release (QPR). The build gave us a glimpse of the foreseen Pixel Feature Drop. Unfortunately, it was packed with a bundle of issues for the Pixel 6 series, such as poor call quality and irregular battery drain. Well, thanks to Google, the issues have now been addressed via the Android 12 QPR3 Beta 1.1 that was launched earlier today.

As mentioned, the new QPR3 Beta update addresses the glitches present in the first beta build. The update can be identified via firmware version S3B1.220218.006. In addition, it upgrades the Google Play services version from 21.48.15 to 22.06.18.
