OnePlus pushes out OxygenOS 12 C.20 for OnePlus 9R!

OnePlus 9R was the trimmed version of the flagship OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro. It came with Android 11 out of the box. It later upgraded the smartphone to OxygenOS 12 based on Android 12. OnePlus has started pushing a new update to the OnePlus 9R smartphone. The brand said that this is an incremental update, and the rollout will be through Over the Air (OTA). As of writing this article, the OxgenOS 12 C.20 update is only live for Indian users. The rollout in other markets is expected to begin in the following weeks. OnePlus announced the details of the update through a post in its community.

The update for the OnePlus 9R for the Indian units comes with the firmware version number LE2101_11.C.20​. OnePlus bumps up the security patch to May 2022. The May patch brings improvements in many security concerns. Apart from the patch update, it also brings improvement in system stability. There are no other changes with the update, and it is a minor one. The incremental update will take some time to reach every unit of the OnePlus 9R. Make sure to check for updates regularly not to miss the update notification. Head to Settings, System, and open the System Updates menu to check for updates. One can also install the update manually by using the OxygenOS updater app.

Realme GT 2 Pro gets May 2022 Security Patch and more via a new update

The Realme GT 2 Pro is the first flagship by the company in the year 2022. Also, it is the first device from the company to get the Android 13 Developer Preview Program. In the meantime, the smartphone is receiving software updates on the current version to keep the user experience stable and seamless.

The latest software update for the Realme GT 2 Pro is bundled with the firmware version RMX3301_11_A.16. The package is currently rolling out in India, and it will soon make its way to more markets in the coming days.

Regarding changes, the build brings multiple fixes across the system, including freezer YouTube video, unexpected restart, overheating, battery draining, and more. OnePlus Nord gets OxygenOS 12 F.12 update; gets a ton of fixes and new features!

OnePlus launched its sub-brand "Nord" in the year 2020. It made its entry into the market with the OnePlus Nord smartphone. OnePlus Nord was the first smartphone from the brand to feature a mid-range chipset. All other phones from OnePlus used to feature Snapdragon 8XX series chipsets. OnePlus rolled out the OxygenOS 12 update to the OnePlus Nord 2 smartphone a month ago. It was the second major and last major update to the smartphone. However, the update contained some issues, and users have reported the same to OnePlus. So, OnePlus has pushed an Over the Air (OTA) update to address those issues. The new OxygenOS 12 F.12 update comes with the firmware version number AC2001_11.F.12​. As per the Community post, the update is live in India. The update will soon reach other markets like Europe, North America, etc., in the following days. 



OnePlus has bumped up the security patch from April 2022 to May 2022. The OnePlus also fixes the music playback stutter when connected to a Bluetooth car kit. The noise issue while recording also got fixed.

OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite receives May 2022 Security patch update!

OnePus has started pushing a new update for the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite. The update comes with the firmware version number CPH2381_11.A.08​. It is rolling out via Over the Air (OTA) and is live for Indian users. OnePlus announced the details of the update through its community app. It is rolling out in batches and will take some time to reach your unit. The broader rollout of the update is expected to begin in the following days. Apart from other changes, the update bundles the May 2022 Security patch. OnePlus has optimized a couple of things relating to the system, camera and Bluetooth. The update doesn't bring any new features. 

The optimization of the system consists of optimizing power consumption and user interface. Another area where the improvement lies is in communication network stability.
