OnePlus Nord 2 gets OxygenOS A.21 update with June 2022 security patch!

The OnePlus Nord 2 was the first smartphone by OnePlus to feature a MediaTek chipset in the Indian market. It was a successor to the first mid-range OnePlus device, i.e., Nord, launched in 2020. Recently, OnePlus pushed the stable OxygenOS 12 (Android 12) update to the Open Beta users. It was a massive update with many new features and bug fixes. The update is in a staged rollout and will take some more time to reach all the Nord 2 units. So, OnePlus has rolled out an incremental update to the OnePlus Nord 2 users over the OxygenOS 11 A.20 update. It included the April 2022 Security patch along with some bug fixes. Now, OnePlus has started rolling the A21 update to the Nord 2 smartphone. It is live in the Indian and European markets.

The update comes with the build number DN2101_11_A.21 for the Indian units. While in Europe, it comes with firmware version number DN2103_11_A.21​. It is rolling out via Over the Air and will be live to all users in the following days.

The update does not bring any major changes. However, it does increase privacy by integrating the June 2022 security patch. These minor modifications are also necessary for the device to keep the user experience up to date.

OnePlus 8 series receives ColorOS 12.1 C.29 update with new fixes

Since the release of ColorOS 12, the Chinese tech giant is delivering minor bumps to the OnePlus 8 series to ensure a seamless experience. The Oppo Reno 7A features a 6.4-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with a punch-hole cutout at the top left corner. The panel offers a screen resolution of 1,080 x 2400 pixels, a 90Hz refresh rate, and a 409ppi pixel density. In addition, it is IP68 rated for dust and splash resistance.

Mi Band has been one of the best smart bands in the industry. A few weeks back, Xiaomi launched its new smart band dubbed Mi Band 7 in China. A new band from the company with the name Xiaomi Smart Band 7 and Band 7 NFC has been spotted on the Bluetooth SIG listing. It is likely to be a new variant of the existing Mi Band 7. The standard Xiaomi Smart Band 7 will come with the model number M2129B1.

Starting with the standard variants, for the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro, the update is rolling out in Europe and North America. For the European models, the build carries version number 11.0.8.1.GM57BA for the OnePlus 7 and 11.0.8.1.GM21BA for the OnePlus 7 Pro. While the NA units will be bumped via version 11.0.8.1.GM57AA and 11.0.8.1.GM21AA​ respectively.
Moving to the T-Mobile versions, the package is making its way to India, Europe, and North America. For the OnePlus 7T, the update arrives via the firmware version 11.0.8.1.HD65AA in India and NA. while the European models are upgrading with 11.0.8.1.HD65BA.

The news was delivered via the Realme community forum respectively for Realme 9 5G SE and Narzo 30 Pro 5G.
