Xiaomi Mi 10T and 10T Pro receives stable Android 12 update

yXiaomi Mi 10T and 10T Pro were unveiled in September 2020 with Android 10-based MIUI 12 out of the box. Now, the company is endowing the respective devices with the latest operating system. The Xiaomi Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro are getting the Android 12 update in the European region based on the company’s own skin iteration MIUI 13.

As mentioned, the latest stable update for the Xiaomi Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro is rolling out in the EEA markets bundled with the firmware version V13.0.6.0.SJDEUXM. Other markets will get the package soon in the upcoming days.
Concerning changes, the Android 12 operating system paired with MIUI 13 is loaded with new features. Xiaomi's spin-off brand Redmi is preparing to unveil a new smartphone: Redmi 10 Prime Plus 5G. This number series smartphone will be a budget offering that is likely to launch in the coming weeks. In the meantime, the device has made an appearance on the Geekbench benchmarking website. Let's take a look at the specifications, features, and other details revealed by the listing.

On the Geekbench database, the Redmi 10 Prime+ 5G bears the model number 22041219I. The phone has managed to score 198 points in the single-core round and 1179 in the multi-core round. Further, the listing reveals some details, including the processor, GPU, OS version, and storage models.

Under the hood, the smartphone will draw power from the MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC integrated with Mali G57 GPU. In addition, the portal confirms a 4GB RAM model of the Redmi 10 Prime+ 5G. However, we can expect the company to introduce multiple storage options. On the software front, the website ensures that the phone will boost Android 12 out of the box. This layer of Android will be tossed with MIUI 13 skin iteration on top.



This is all that is disclosed by the Geekbench listing. However, some reports suggest that the Redmi 10 Prime+ will be a rebadged version of the Redmi Note 11E 5G, which was launched in China earlier this year. In that case, the upcoming handset will feature a 90Hz 6.58-inch Full HD+ display with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

For optics, it will house a 5MP front camera sensor and a dual-camera setup on the back. The capacity of the rear unit stands at a 50MP main sensor and a 2MP portrait lens. Also, the device will pack a 5000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support over a USB Type-C port.

OnePlus Nord N20 SE visits NBTC certification website, launch imminent

A new Nord series handset by OnePlus is in the pipeline: OnePlus Nord N20 SE. As you might have guessed, this will be an affordable offering by the company. Recently, the device made an appearance on the NBTC certification website, hinting at an imminent launch. Meanwhile, here's what the upcoming Nord phone might offer.

The latest NBTC listing has confirmed the model number CPH2469 for the OnePlus Nord N20 SE. Unfortunately, the portal does not reveal anything about the phone, besides the model number and the moniker. A couple of weeks ago, the Nord N20 SE was also listed on the TDRA database, confirming its moniker.



To recall, the same model was also spotted on the FCC certification database sometime back. However, the website did not reveal the moniker of the device. Although it did confirm the presence of a 5,000 mAh battery and SuperVOOC charging support. Also, the handset will measure 163.74 × 75.03 × 7.99mm in dimensions.

Based on the model number CPH2469 and details revealed by the FCC listing, the OnePlus Nord N20 SE could be a rebranded Oppo A57. The Oppo A57 was recently unveiled in India as a mid-range offering. The phone features a 60Hz 6.56-inch HD+ LCD and a layer of Panda Glass protection on top.

Underneath, the phone powers Helio G35 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. For software, the Oppo A57 boosts Android 11 out of the box tossed with ColorOS 12.1 on top. A 5000 mAh battery unit keeps the system working with a 33W SuperVOOC fast charging support.




In terms of camera, the smartphone houses an 8MP snapper on the front for selfies and video calls. At the back, there’s a dual-rear camera setup consisting of a 13MP primary lens and a 2MP mono sensor.

A few days back, popular tipster Mukul Sharma revealed that OnePlus would launch some IoT products. These products will be under OnePlus and Nord branding. Earlier this year, a report revealed that OnePlus Nord smartwatches are in the pipeline. The brand plans to launch Nord watches under the sub 100 dollar (Rs 8000) segment. In the latest development, a new OnePlus Nord smartwatch has been certified by the Indian BIS.

The upcoming Nord smartwatch that has been certified by BIS will bear the model number OPBBE221. Since most of you know, the BIS listing won't reveal any device specification apart from the model number. Although as mentioned above, the upcoming smartwatch will be priced between Rs 5000 and 8000.

In addition, there are reports on the web that the device will be launched in Q3 of 2022. It is likely to launch alongside the OnePlus Nord 3 smartphone. Mukul also revealed that the internal testing of the device has begun in India. 



As per rumors, the upcoming OnePlus Nord smartwatch will feature a round-shaped dial like the OnePlus Watch. Likewise, the watch will have a touch panel for easy operation. Furthermore, it will be equipped with a heart rate sensor, sleep & step tracker, and SpO2 monitor. Needless to say, the wearable will be fitted with standard smartwatch features like call alerts, music controls, and call and notification alerts. However, it is unlikely to feature the support for calling.

Galaxy A23 5G arrives at Geekbench, confirms Snapdragon 695 SoC

Samsung is working to unveil a new Galaxy A-series smartphones that recently made an appearance online. The Galaxy A23 5G was spotted on the benchmarking site, Geekbench, revealing some of its key specifications. Here is a closer look at the upcoming Galaxy A23 5G.

On the Geekbench portal, the Galaxy A23 5G bears the model number SM-A236U. Based on the model number, the device seems to be a US- exclusive model. Also, it has managed to score 674 points in the single-core test and 2019 points in the multi-core test. Further, the listing reveals some details, including the processor, GPU, OS version, and storage configuration.

Under the hood, an octa-core chipset with six cores clocked 1.8GHz and two performance cores clocked at 2.21GHz powers the phone. This processor is integrated with Adreno 619 GPU. Considering the details, it is the Snapdragon 695 SoC. In addition, the listing confirms a 4GB RAM model.

However, we do expect the company to introduce Galaxy A23 5G in more storage variants as well. Also, the handset will come pre-installed with Android 12. With this operating system, it is likely to be tossed with One UI 4.1 skin iteration on top.

Further, the listing suggested the phone come with 4GB of RAM. However, we can expect more RAM and storage variants of the device. The device will run on Android 12 out of the box, which is likely to be based on One UI 4.1 skin. Based on the model number this could be a US-specific variant.

As per the previous leaks, the Galaxy A23 5G will carry a 50MP primary lens and will ship with a 5,000 mAh battery. With the approaching time, more details about the smartphone will surface online soon.

Realme V5, Realme 8, and Narzo 30 gets Realme UI 3.0 public beta program

Realme is swiftly deploying the Android 12 OS to its eligible flagships. Although the package is under testing for some devices, the others are getting the stable version already. On that note, the latest Realme UI 3.0-based software update is rolling out for the Realme V5, Realme 8, and Narzo 30.

The announcement was made via the official Realme community post. As per the report, users of the respective devices can start testing their device’s compatibility with the Android 12. The availability of the Realme UI 3.0 beta program is unknown. Therefore, you can try flashing the beta build on your handset
