iQOO 9T launched in India with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC for ₹49,999

The Vivo sub-brand has unveiled its new premium smartphone in India: iQOO 9T. To recall, the device was scheduled to launch on August 2. Surpsingly, the brand announced the smartphone a few days earlier. To mention, the phone is a rebranded iQOO 10. The iQOO 9T features a 6.78-inch Samsung E5 AMOLED display with a layer of Schott Xensation UP glass for protection. The panle offers an FHD+ resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels (FHD+), up to a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10, 1500 nits peak brightness level, and 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut.

OnePlus released the Nord N10 5G smartphone last year with Android 10 pre-installed. The handset is eligible to grab only one major OS update. Accordingly, the Android 11 update for the device was released this year followed by the new OS-based skin, OxygenOS 11. On the bright side, the company never forgets to give regular bumps. The new Xiaomi phone on the FCC bears the model number 220733SL. As mentioned, the company will launch the device with the Redmi branding. Besides the model number, the FCC listing reveals some key details, including the operating system and connectivity options on board.

On the software front, the portal divulges that the Redmi 220733SL will boost Android 12 out of the box. With this operating system onboard, we can expect the device to come pre-installed with MIUI 13 skin iteration on top. In terms of connectivity, the phone will come with support for Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, GSM, and LTE Band 5. In addition, the handset will come with dual SIM network support.

Magisk releases Magisk v25.2 Hotfix update (download link included)!

The only way to root a smartphone in 2022 is by using Magsik. Magisk came as an advanced version of a rooting smartphone. It came with many flexibilities that SuperSu didn't possess. It is a necessary software that runs even before booting. In June, Magisk's developer John Wu released the v25 as a public beta. It came with many changes, including a complete rewriting of MagiskInit. Magisk solved SELinux Problem after injecting a whole new sepolicy. Later, Magisk released the stable version of v25 after fixing some bugs as v25.1. John Wu also confirmed that he started the development of v26. He said it would be developed in the Oxidation Project (i.e., Rust programming language). Earlier today, Magisk received another Hotfix update. Magisk has fixed some core files in the Magisk v25.2 Hotfix update.

The latest Hotfix update will work in smartphones running on Android, starting from Android 5 to Android 13. The upcoming Magisk v26 can be seen in the Magisk canary before making its way to the stable. John Wu added that he struggled since Project Treble came in Android 8.0. The project treble has created trouble by creating more partitions. The hotfix update of Magisk v25.2 has fixed the following bugs;
