OnePlus Nord 2, 9R, and 8T receives July 2022 security patch update

OnePlus has started spinning out a new software update for the OnePlus Nord 2, OnePlus 9R, and OnePlus 8T smartphones. The packages for the respective smartphones bring different changes. However, the privacy of all devices is upgrading as the build inculcates the July 2022 security patch.

The latest software update for all smartphones is rolling out in India, while other markets will also get the build in the coming days. For the Nord 2 users, the build arrives on firmware version DN2101_11_C.06. Whereas, the build can be identified by versions LE2101_11_C.32 and KB2001_11_C.32 for the OnePlus 9R and OnePlus 8T, respectively. However, the update brings the same changes to both smartphones.

It's not been even a month since the Nothing Phone (1) was unveiled on the market. The company has already released a couple of updates for the smartphone. Now again, the device is receiving a new software dubbed Nothing OS 1.1.2. Although it is a minor update, it does pack some practical improvements and bug fixes.

The latest software update for the Nothing Phone (1) arrives on firmware version S1.1-220728-0051, which weighs approximately 39MB to download.

As for modifications, this is a minor update. However, it carries some important improvements and bug fixes to improve the user experience. After flashing the new update, the always-on display feature will have a custom schedule by default. The mode will automatically be turned off during the night.

In addition, the build adds a toggle to show the fingerprint icon when the screen is asleep. Also, the changelog claims to improve the charging performance and compatibility with 3rd party chargers. Moreover, it optimizes some minor UI details, which precisely remain unknown at the moment. Besides, the build resolves some bugs as well as Bluetooth codec issue and bring stability improvements.

Google unveiled the Pixel 6a smartphone in May 2022. However, the Indian launch was delayed by a couple of months. The device features a 60Hz 6.1-inch Full HD+ OLED display.
