Galaxy A11 gets its last major software update with Android 12

While Samsung is busy testing the One UI 5.0 skin iteration for some smartphones, the company did not forget its older devices. On that note, the Galaxy A11 is picking a major software update with Android 12. To recall, this is a two-year-old budget device that was launched with Android 10 out of the box.

The latest software update for the Galaxy A11 is bundled with the firmware version A115FXXU3CVI3. As of now, it is rolling out in Sri Lanka, but we can expect it to expand to other regions as well. Also, it seems like the last major upgrade for the smartphone. After this update, the device might get security patches, but will not get any new major Android versions.

Needless to say, the Android 12 OS is layered with One UI Core 4.1 skin iteration on top. As for changes, the package packs the Material You Color Palette. Samsung rolls out Android 12 update to Galaxy Tab A8 in Europe

Samsung is testing the One UI 5.0 beta for some of its high-end and mid-range flagships. Until then, the company is still delivering the Android 12 update to its eligible smartphones. On that note, Galaxy Tab A8 is receiving a new major software update based on One UI 4.0. For the record, the device was launched back in January with Android 11 pre-installed. This will make it the first Android update for the handset.

Apparently, OnePlus is gearing up to unveil the OnePlus 11R in a couple of months. As the name suggests, it will sit over the OnePlus 10R that was launched earlier this year. A month back, Samsung took off the wraps from the Galaxy A04 smartphone. Now, it looks like the company is refreshing the A-series with the launch of the Galaxy A04 Core. However, as always, there are no official words from the company yet. The upcoming phone has made an appearance on the FCC certification website, revealing some of its key details.

On the FCC portal, the Galaxy A04 Core bears the model number SM-A042F/DS, which is a "variant product of SM-A042M/DS" (Galaxy A04). The portal reveals some of the design and battery details as well as connectivity options onboard. The upcoming device will house a vertically aligned dual camera setup. The panel will measure 71.43 x 23.59 x 170.48 mm in dimensions.

In addition, the company will ship the smartphone with a typical 4900 mAh battery. However, it will have a rated capacity of 5000 mAh. Also, the connectivity options will include dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GSM, LTE, etc.

The Chinese tech giant series is expected to unveil the Realme 10 series next year. Ahead of the official launch, the vanilla model from the lineup has started to emerge online. In the latest development, the smartphone has arrived on the FCC certification website, revealing some of its key details. Here's what we collected for the latest listing.

On the FCC portal, the Realme 10 bears the RMX3630 model number. The website reveals the pack panel design and confirms a few specifications, including operating system, battery, charging capacity, and more. UFSC Standard implemented on Huawei Mate XS2, Xiaomi 11T, iQOO 10 Pro

Last year, some of the major Chinese brands came together to create a new unifying fast-charging standard. This includes Huawei, OPPO, Vivo, and Xiaomi. The Universal Fast Charging Specification Standard aka, UFSC Standard intends to solve the problems the multiple technologies have created with the fast charging feature. The latest reports suggest that the standard has started implementing with some new launches, including Huawei Mate XS2, Xiaomi 11T, and iQOO 10 Pro.

The Universal Fast Charging Specification intends to centralize mobile fast charging technical standards. According to the latest report by the Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the UFSC Standard is already introduced. Some latest smartphones to carry it are the Huawei Mate XS2, Xiaomi 11T, and iQOO 10 Pro.
