HMD Global has silently unveiled a new G-series smartphone in India: the Nokia G11 Plus. The device went live on the Nokia India website as a budget offering. Needless to say, the listing reveals its key specifications. To recall, the phone was launched in the global market back in June. Here's a closer look at the India model of the handset.

The main highlight of the Nokia G11 Plus is that it will "offer a bloatware-free Android experience" as claimed by the company. It boosts Android 12 out of the box. Besides, the brand has promised to prove two major Android upgrades and three years of monthly security updates.
At the front, the smartphone is built around a 6.5-inch LCD display with a waterdrop notch cutout. The panel offers an HD+ resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, and a 180Hz touch sampling rate. Also, it is IP52-rated, making it splash-resistant. For security and biometrics, there's a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a Face Unlock feature.
Under the hood, the Nokia G11 draws power from an octa-core processor based on UniSoC T606 SoC. Further, the chipset is paired with Mali G57 GPU, 4GB RAM, and 64GB of internal storage. In addition, the user can expand the memory up to 512GB via a micro SD card.
In terms of optics, the latest G-series smartphone carries a dual camera setup at the back. It consists of a 50MP primary lens alongside a 2MP sensor to measure depth. For selfies and video calls, there's an 8MP unit housed inside the notch.
Moreover, the Nokia G11 Plus ships with a 5000 mAh battery, making it weigh 192grams. The power cell supports 18W of fast charging over a USB Type-C port. The other notable specs include dual-SIM (Nano) 4G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, a 3.5mm audio jack, and OZO audio support.

Nokia G11 Plus costs ₹12,499for its sole 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant. The device is available to buy via the Nokia India website in two color options: Charcoal Grey and Lake Blue. Lastly, the budget handset can soon make its way to other online and offline stores.
