Vivo V20 (2021) quietly launched in India at ₹24,999

Vivo has quietly launched the 2021 edition Vivo V20. The device has directly listed on Amazon India website without any announcement. The device’s price is set at Rs. 24, 990, and the sale has already been started.

Vivo V20 features a 6.44-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, and a 60Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G processor. It is available in 8GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage. Furthermore, it can be expandable upto 1TB with a microSD card.


In terms of camera, the Vivo V20 sports a triple rear camera setup that assembles with a 64-megapixel primary camera, 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, there’s a 44-MP single camera for selfies and video calling.


The device runs Android 11 based Funtouch OS 11 (Skin) out of the box. Moreover, it houses with a 4,000mAh battery backup, including fast charging support upto 33W. In-connectivity options, it comes with dual-SIM functionality, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, fingerprint sensor, etc.

Oppo Reno5 Pro+ 5G launched with Snapdragon 865 SoC and 90Hz refresh rate

The BBK-owned Oppo has finally launched the Oppo Reno5 Pro+ 5G smartphone in its home country – China. Some of the smartphone’s highlighting specifications include the Snapdragon 865 SoC, fast charging support up to 65W, and 90Hz display. Talking about the price, the phone is priced at RMB 3,999 (approx. Rs 45,067) for the starting model.

The dual-sim Reno5 Pro+ 5G houses a 6.55-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate. The device is available in two variants, i.e., 8GB RAM with 128GB internal storage and 12GB RAM with 256GB of internal storage. Moreover, the smartphone is powered by an Octa-core processor based Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC with Adreno 650 GPU.


In the camera department, it sports a quad rear camera setup that assembles with a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary sensor + 16MP ultra-wide lens + 13MP telephoto lens + 2MP macro sensor. For selfies and video calling, there’s a 32MP single front-facing camera.


The Reno5 Pro+ 5G runs the latest Android 11 based Color OS 11 out of the box. There’s also a 4,500mAh battery with 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 fast charging support. Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra receiving Android 11-based One UI 3.0 update

The Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite, S20 FE, and many other devices have recently received the One UI 3.0 update. Now, the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra smartphones have started picking the Android 11 based One UI 3.0 update. The update weighs nearly 1.5GB in size and is rolling out only to the European and Indian users.

Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite starts getting Android 11-based One UI 3.0 update

Recently, Samsung rolled out the One UI 3.0 update to Galaxy S20 SeriesOne UI 2.5 update to Galaxy A50 and A70 devices. Now, the company has started pushing out the Android 11 One UI 3.0 update to the Galaxy S10 Lite smartphones. The update is bumping on the G770FXXU3DTL1 Firmware version, and it weighs nearly 2,053.34 MB in size.

What’s new?


Talking about the changelog, the update comes with the December 2020 Security patch, Android 11 features/ add-ons, One UI 3.0 goodness & features, and further, it might also include optimizations and fixes. Some of the features of One UI 3.0 include conversations section in the notifications area, dedicated media playback widget, and much more.


The update refreshes and brings improvements for many of the applications like Calendar, Phone, Messages, Samsung Internet, Keyboard, etc. As of now, this update is currently limited only to Indian and Spain markets only. Redmi 8 starts getting MIUI 12 Update

Recently Xiaomi has rolled out the MIUI 12 based Android 11 stable update to the Mi 10 Lite users and other updates to many smartphones. Now, the company has finally started rolling out the MIUI 12 Stable update to the Redmi 8 users. The update bears the V12.0.1.0 QCNMIXM Firmware version and is currently rolling out only to Global users.

What’s new?


According to the changelog/release note, the update adds new features, optimizations, and fixes for known/reported issues. The new features include Swipe down from the upper left corner to open the Notification shade and from the upper right corner to open the Control center, When Notification shade is open, swipe down from the upper right corner to open Control center, and much more. Moto G9 Power launched in India with 6,000mAh Battery at Rs. 11,999

A couple of days back, Lenovo owned Motorola has launched the Moto G9 Power in Europe at a price tag of EUR 199 (Approx. Rs. 17,790). Today, the company has launched the same device in India at a very less price of Rs. 11,999. Talking about the key specifications, the device sports a hole-punch display, IP52-rated water-repellent build, and two colour shades.

The dual Nano-SIM Moto G9 features a 6.8-inch HD+ IPS display with a resolution of 720 x 1640 pixels and a 20.5:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, it is powered by an octa-core processor based Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 SoC out of the box. The device comes with 4GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage. Furthermore, it can be expandable upto 128GB with a microSD card port.

After the successful rollout of the One UI 3.0 to Galaxy A50s, A70, and others, the company has now started seeding out the same update to the Galaxy S20 series.
