Google releases Android 13 Beta 4.1 to squash last-minute bugs

It's been a couple of weeks since Google released the final beta stage for Android 13. The company says that the official release is “just a few weeks away.” As always, there's a last-minute beta update that intends to squash the remaining bugs. With the release of Android 13 Beta 4.1, the stable release is only a step away.

Over the beta stages, Android 13 is endorsed with all the new features and under-the-hood improvements. However, this last update is short on changes. In fact, this is a minor update that addresses a few issues. Although it is the most stable beta version of the software.


As mentioned, Android 13 Beta 4.1 does not bring any user-facing changes. Although it does take care of the incorrect interpretation of GPS data. In addition, the Bluetooth toggling bug and the issue where Meet connectivity could drop while driving is resolved. Moreover, the update also addresses the abnormal crash and rebooting of the device while trying to connect to Wi-Fi.

The new bug fixes are a part of the firmware version to TPB4.220624.008. Besides, it also upgrades the Google Play services version to 22.21.16.

Oppo A55s 5G receives stable Android 12 update based on ColorOS 12

At the beginning of this month, Oppo released an update timeline for the deployment of ColorOS 12. Adhering to its schedule, the Android 12-based customized sin is now reaching out to the Oppo A55s 5G. The latest software update for the Oppo A55s 5G is rolling out in Japan, while other markets will also pick up the update soon. The package is bundled with the firmware version C.16. To receive the OTA update notification on your phone, make sure that it is running the required A.13 or A.14 version.

Realme 9i and Realme X7 5G picks up stable Android 12 update

While Android 13 is underway, the smartphone brands are busy deploying Android 12 OS to its eligible flagship. Likewise, Realme is delivering the latest stable Android operating system to a couple of its devices: Realme 9i and Realme X7 5G.

OnePlus Ace Pro with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC launch imminent

OnePlus can soon introduce a new device in its domestic market— the OnePlus Ace Pro. FYI, this same device will debut on August 3 as the OnePlus 10T 5G in other markets, including India. To recall, the OnePlus 10R 5G was launched in China as the OnePlus Ace. Likewise, the OnePlus Ace Pro will be rebranded OnePlus 10T 5G. The Oneplus 7 series are scheduled to reach the stable Android 12 milestone in a few months. Meanwhile, the company is delivering a new software update based on OxygenOS 11. The entire OnePlus 7 series— OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro, including the T-Mobile variants— OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7T Pro is picking up a new update with OxygenOS 11.0.9.1.

The statement was made official via the OnePlus community post for respective models. As per the post, the update is rolling out in Europe and North America for the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro. For the European models, the build carries version number 11.0.9.1.GM57BA for the OnePlus 7 and 11.0.9.1.GM21BA for the OnePlus 7 Pro. While the NA units will bump with version 11.0.9.1.GM57AA and 11.0.9.1.GM21AA respectively.
Moving to the T-Mobile versions, the package is making its way to India, Europe, and North America. For the OnePlus 7T, the update arrives via the firmware version 11.0.9.1.HD65AA in India and NA. while the European models are upgrading with 11.0.9.1.HD65BA.
