[Update: October 2020 Security Patch] Oppo F11 & F11 Pro Updates Tracker

In the Q1 of 2019, Oppo has officially launched Oppo F11 and F11 Pro smartphones at a medium price range. Both the smartphones pack with a 6.53-inch display and MediaTek SoCs. In-camera, the smartphones come with dual rear cameras and a single front-facing camera. The devices are available in 4/6GB of RAM and 64/128GB of internal storage.

  • [November 4, 2020]: The October 2020 Security patch update has finally started hitting the Oppo F11 and F11 Pro devices. The update is rolling out on the CPH1911EX_11_C.32 Firmware version for F11 users and CPH1969EX_11_C.32 Build number for F11 Pro users. The update weighs nearly 280 MB in size. However, the size may vary if you have not installed the previous updates. As of now, there’s no official changelog/ release note from the company. So, usually, the Security patch updates include bug fixes, optimizations, and improvements.

  • [June 17, 2020]: Oppo F11 Pro smartphones have started receiving a new update with the June 2020 Security patch update. The update appears on the CPH1969EX_11_C.24 Firmware version, and it includes the latest Security patch, bug fixes, and improvements.   • [March 8, 2020]: Oppo has started pushing out the February 2020 Security patch update for the Oppo F11 and F11 Pro users. The update is hitting all the devices on the CPH1969EX_11_A.42 and might include bug fixes, improvements, and optimizations to improve the smartphone’s stability. As it’s the update’s initial rollout, it usually takes a couple of days to reach all the units. However, everyone will be experiencing an update within two weeks. Meanwhile, you can also navigate to Settings>Software updates and check for updates to manually check the update status. We also suggest you switch over to a WiFi network to avoid carrier data charges.
