Samsung Galaxy M10 is receiving July 2021 security patch update

With its frequent update policies, Samsung has become one of the best smartphone brands available in the market. The Korean giant is effectively upgrading its devices with July 2021 Android security patch. It started with the Galaxy S10 followed by the dozens of low-end, mid-rangers, and high-end devices. The next device to join the long list is Galaxy M10.

As always, the company already started sending a new monthly security patch before the end of the previous month. The latest update for the Galaxy M10 is unfurling in Argentina, South America. The units in other regions will also get similar treatment soon. The package arrives on firmware version M105MUBU7CUF1.

According to Samsung's documentation, the July 2021 patch addresses over 20 vulnerabilities related to security and privacy. Moreover, it brings a fix for the Android-Auto bug that many Galaxy users were facing.

Furthermore, some reports suggest that the update could also carry some other changes as well enhancing the user experience. However, these changes are still undercover.

As usual, the OTA update is having an incremental rollout. This means the package will hit different units randomly and a border rollout will follow later. Alternatively, the user can also track the build manually by heading to Settings > Software update > Download and install.

Samsung Galaxy M10 was released in 2019 with Android 8.1 (Oreo) onboard. The device has already received the major OS updates it deserves and now it is only eligible for the regular security patch updates.
