Motorola is frequently working to expand its G-series flagship. While Moto G22 could launch anytime soon, Moto G82 5G has made an appearance on SIRIM in Malaysia and FCC certification. To recall, the device was previously spotted on TDRA, Geekbench, BIS, EEC, and Wi-Fi Alliance databases.

As per the SIRIM and FCC websites, the Moto G82 5G bears the model number XT2225-1. The handset was formerly listed on multiple certifications with XT2225-1 and XT2225-2 model numbers. The FCC portal reveals that the upcoming phone will have dual SIM support, NFC support, dual-band Wi-Fi, and 5G connectivity as well.

Apart from the aforementioned details, the listing does not divulge much about the smartphone. Now that Moto G82 5G has bagged all the vital certifications, we can expect the company to make it official soon. Fortunately, we do have more information, thanks to the earlier listings.
The UL Demko and TUV websites reveal the smartphone's charging and battery details. The Moto G82 5G will pack a 5,000mAh power cell that will support 33W of fast charging.

In addition, the Geekbench database discloses the processor, operating system, and a few other details. It confirms the presence of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G SoC under the hood. The chipset will be integrated with Adreno 619 GPU. Also, it mentions an 8GB RAM model. On the software front, the Moto G82 5G will boost Android 12 out of the box.
