Nokia C31 bags Geekbench certification with UniSoC SoC

The house of HMD Global is preparing to extend its C-series of smartphones. After the Nokia C21 and Nokia C21 Plus, the company is working on another phone: Nokia C31. The upcoming device will be an entry-level offering. However, as always, the brand has not announced anything officially yet. Ahead of the announcement, the upcoming Nokia device has made an appearance on the Geekbench certification website. The listing sheds light on some key details of the handset, here's a detailed look at them.

The Nokia C31 will sit over the Nokia C30 that was unveiled in October 2021. On the Geekbench 5 test, the device has managed to score 145 in the single-core round and 796 in the multi-core round. Further, the listing reveals some key specifications, including processor, operating system, and storage configuration.

Under the hood, the upcoming smartphone by the company will draw power from a UniSoC processor. The octa-core processor will have a core configuration of 4 + 4, a base frequency of 1.20GHz, and a peak frequency of 1.60GHz. Further, the portal reveals the presence of PowerVR Rogue GE8322 GPU. Considering these details, the device seems to equip a UniSoC SC9863A chipset.

On the software front, the Nokia C31 is confirmed to run Android 12 out of the box. In addition, the benchmarking website approves a 4GB RAM model of the phone.
