After the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro, the company is reaching out to the OnePlus 9RT with OxygenOS 13 Open Beta program. According to the official OnePlus community post, the update is available for users in India. While it will soon extend to other markets as well.
The OnePlus 9RT users in the countries can enroll in the beta program. However, before updating, make sure that your device is updated to the latest OxygenOS 12 version i.e;

OxygenOS 13 Open Beta arrives with a new
Aquamorphic theme design. In addition, it brings along a ton of optimization and other new features. The changelog for the update is quite lengthy and feature-enriched. Take a look below for precise additions.

Health & Digital wellbeing

As this is a beta build, it will be loaded with bugs and glitches. Some of these issues are mentioned by the company itself.
- Eye comfort mode cannot be activated in specific scenarios.
- After switching the system dynamic wallpaper, the time on the lock screen is displayed abnormally.
If you have made up your mind,
download the official package and follow the below steps.
- Copy the ROM upgrade package to the phone storage.
- Go to Settings > About device > Version
- Click on the build number 7 times and enter the password
This will make you enter developer mode.
- Go back Settings > About device > Up to date > Click the top right button > Local install > Click on the corresponding installation package > Extract > Upgrade > System upgrade completed to 100%.
- After the upgrade is complete, click Restart.
In case the
Android 13 beta is too buggy for your OnePlus 9RT, you can roll back to
Android 12 via
this package. After downloading, follow the above steps again. However, make sure to take a backup as this step will wipe away all your data.
