Samsung Wallet availability extended to 13 new markets

Earlier this year, Samsung blended the features of Samsung Pass and Samsung Pay into a single app called Samsung Wallet. As the name suggests, the app secures and organizes your important documents for you to access them at your fingertips. So far, the app was available in eight countries—France, Germany, Italy, Spain, South Korea, the UK, and the US. Now, the company is expanding its availability to 13 more markets.

If you own a Galaxy smartphone operating on Android 9 or higher OS versions, you can download the Samsung Wallet app. However, you need to match one more criterion, i.e; residing in one of the accessible countries. Besides the above-mentioned regions, the Korean tech giant had added 13 more markets to the list. This includes Bahrain, Denmark, Finland, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Norway, Oman, Qatar, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland, Vietnam, and UAE.

“We are focused on bringing the platform to as many markets as possible, as soon as possible, so more Samsung Galaxy users have the opportunity to reap the benefits of the digital wallet,” says Samsung

With the new additions, the Samsung Wallet app is now available in 21 regions. As claimed by the brand, it has "collaborated with a variety of trusted partners" in order to increase the capabilities of the app. Also, it will expand the platform to more regions as well.

If you live in any of these countries, you can store your documents, passwords, and other important stuff on your phone. Moreover, you need not worry about safety, thanks to the Samsung Knox. For extra sensitive documents, you can reserve them in an isolated environment for extra protection.
