Realme 9 Pro+ picks up Realme UI 4.0 beta based on Android 13

Realme is finally extending the Android 13 beta beyond the GT-series smartphones. So far, the company has been testing the Android version on Realme GT 2 Pro, Realme GT 2, and Realme GT Neo 3. The next device to pick up the Realme UI 4.0 beta is Realme 9 Pro+, making it the first budget handset to join the beta group.

The Android 13-based Realme UI 4.0 beta for the Realme 9 Pro+ 5G is currently rolling out in India. Other countries could join the program in the coming weeks. The users can identify the build via the firmware version RMX3392_11_C.01, which weighs around 5.22GB to download.




As for changes, the package brings a new aquamorphic design and other things, including Home Screen, media playback control, and new widgets. In addition, it upgrades to HyperBoos GPA 4.0, improving the gaming experience. These changes are not limited to this. To know the precise features, check out the changelog below.

    • Adds large folders to the Home screen. You can now open an app in an enlarged folder with just one tap and turn pages in the folder with a swipe.

    • Adds media playback control, and optimises the Quick Settings experience.

    • Adds more markup tools for screenshot editing.

    • Adds support for adding widgets to the Home screen, making information display more personalised.

    • Optimises Shelf. Swiping down on the Home screen will bring up Shelf by default. You can search content online and on your device.

    • Optimises Private Safe. The Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) is used to encrypt all files for enhanced security of private files.

    • Adds Eye comfort in Kid Space to protect children’s vision.

    • Upgrades to HyperBoost GPA 4.0 to stabilize the frame rate and balance the performance and power consumption in key scenarios.

If the new features interest you, registered for Early Access Bet first. Thereafter, head to Settings > About device. Subsequently, click on the Realme UI icon and tap Download & install. Before applying, make sure that your device is charged above 60%.
