Almost a month ago, Telegram updated its platform with a box full of new features. Once again, the app is getting refreshed with several new additions. In addition to this, participants can also raise their hands and contribute to the conversation if allowed. The other features in Telegram include “flexible forwarding.” This will allow the user to show or hide the caption and sender before forwarding the picture. In case you accidentally tapped the wrong chat, the "Preview" window will allow you to change the recipient.

The other addition enables the user to jump to the next channel. While scrolling to the end of one channel, you will see a prompt that needs to be swiped up to enter the next unread channel. The process repeats if there's another channel left for reading.

The other minor changes include new animated emoji, trending stickers, larger previews for sticker suggestions, and unread comment counters in channels.

Samsung unveils Galaxy A52S with Snapdragon 778G 5G Soc

Welcoming September, Samsung has finally launched the much-rumored Galaxy A52S 5G. The latest model in the Galaxy A series is a refreshed version of the standard Galaxy A52 5G. Before the launch, we had some leaks with us but with the official announcement, the device has finally come to light.

The Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G features a 6.5-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O Display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The panel has an IP67 rated build offering dust and water resistance protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Additionally, it offers a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and 405 PPI pixel density. It will measure 159.9 x 75.1 x 8.4 mm in dimensions and weigh 189 grams.

Under the hood, the Galaxy A52s runs Android 11 tossed with One UI 3 on top. Further, it equips Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC. The smartphone has 128 GB of internal storage onboard paired with 6 GB/ 8 GB GB of RAM. The storage is further expandable up to 1TB via a microSD card slot.

In the optics department, Galaxy A52s holds a 64 MP quad rear camera module. The other lenses include a 12 MP secondary sensor, and a couple of 5 MP macro and telephoto shooters. On the other side, there's a single 32 MP snapper for selfies and video calls.

Huawei Watch 3 series get smart gesture control with the latest update

A couple of months back, Huawei launched the Watch 3 series after a break of four years. The lineup consists of two models— Watch 3 and Watch 3 Pro. The company is now sending a new software update to the wearables that brings smart gesture control features.

To be precise, the controls introduce three smart gestures. The first one promotes contactless payment. You can raise your wrist and rub your fingers on the screen to open the Alipay QR code for contactless payment. While the other two are related to the calling section. You can make a fist and release it to answer an incoming call. Lastly, the call can be muted instantly by flipping the wrist.

To experience these changes, turn on the gestures via the Application menu > Settings > Accessibility > Gestures and toggle the smart gesture feature. Hopefully, the company will add more such controls in future updates

Both Watch 3 and Watch 3 Pro are quite identical, with the main difference in the build of the two watches. The wearable features a 1.43-inch AMOLED screen with a 60Hz refresh rate. The panel offers a 3D rotating crown, 466 X 466 pixels resolution, and 326PPI. The build sports a stainless steel body and a 3D large-curvature mirror design.

The series powers its homegrown OS named Harmony OS as the company is banned from using Google Services. Google Chrome 93 is rolling out for all platforms with new features

Microsoft Power BI apps update get new Goals feature on Android and iOS

Microsoft Power BI is a set of business intelligence apps that provides tools for aggregating, analyzing, visualizing, and sharing data to non-technical business users. Today, the app is receiving a new update that adds a new Goal feature, new Goals Hub, and scorecards for keeping track of tasks progress.

The update is live for both Android and iOS users. If you're on Android, you may look for the 2.2.210823.2142829 version. While the iOS users will find it on 24.0.
“Goals is a great addition to Power BI. Built directly on top of Power BI data, Goals provide a data-driven, collaborative, adaptable way of measuring and tracking progress on key business metrics,” Says Maya Shenhav, Microsoft Power BI Mobile and Devices PM.

Both Android and iOS platforms are getting updated, the changes are different though. Where both platforms users can now monitor goals, scorecards, and check-in progress on the go, directly from the mobile app. The iOS users can request access to a link directly via the app. While Android users now have the Power BI Goals preview on the app.

Oppo K3 gets Android 11 based ColorOS 11 stable update in India

Though some of these features will not be available for the Z Flip series. Precisely, the Flex Mode Panel and Drag & Split features will be inaccessible. On the other side, the original Galaxy Fold will miss Cover Screen Mirroring and Flex Mode Panel. But the Galaxy Z Fold 2 users will have all the features on board with the update.

Samsung has officially confirmed the arrival of its next customized skin, One UI 4.0. As per the company's words, the first beta for the new skin will be released next month. Meanwhile, it has started sending an upgraded version of the current stable skin, One UI 3.1. The next in line to get the One UI 3.1.1 update is the Galaxy A52 5G.

FYI, the version number of the One UI skin remains unchanged but with the introduction of improvements and new features, we can consider it an upgrade over the current skin. But technically it isn’t. The latest update for the Galaxy A52 5G bears the firmware version number A526BXXU1AUH5, weighing 800MB in size. Accompanying the other changes, the package gets you the current security maintenance, August 2021.

The build carries some new additions like the Bedtime mode toggle that can be seen in the notification shade. Moreover, the drawing board with Enhanced Processing is now renamed “Processing Speed.” This further includes three new presets— Optimized, High, and Maximum.
