It managed to score 483 points in the single-core round and 1668 in the multi-core round. As promised by the company, the Xiaomi CIVI 2 has made its debut in the Chinese market today. The smartphone is the third device in the lineup, including the Xiaomi Civi and Xiaomi Civi 1S. The latest female-focused smartphone arrives with a significant improvement in design and specs. Here's a closer look at the latest Xiaomi handset.

The Xiaomi Civi 2 features a 6.55-inch curved OLED display with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The screen houses a pill-shaped cutout, making it the first Android smartphone to carry so. The panel offers an FHD+ resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, 10-bit color depth, 800 nits peak brightness level, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and 1920Hz PWM dimming.

Underneath, the smartphone equips the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage. For software, it runs on Android 12 out of the box along with MIUI 13 on top.

Galaxy A52 joins One UI 5.0 beta program based on Android 13

In a surprising turn of events, Samsung has ditched its flagship phones to pick up the One UI 5.0 beta update. Instead, the mid-ranger Galaxy A52 becomes the latest device to get the Android 13-based beta program. So far, the company has been testing the Galaxy S22 and the Galaxy S21 series, making A52 the first budget handset to join the beta group.

As of now, the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 beta program for the Galaxy A52 is available for users in India. The other markets will also get access to the program in the coming weeks. As for changes, the beta package will bring multiple new features. To begin with, it includes new Material You theming colors, tweaked notifications icons, stacked widgets, new multi-tasking gestures, enhanced privacy and security, and much more. Moreover, it will bring OCR (Optical Character Recognition) feature that will allow the user to copy text from an image and keyboard.
