Chromecast with Google TV (4K) is now available in more countries

To recall, the streaming stick was only available in the US at the time of launch. Now, the company is planning to deliver the old stick to a group of countries. Realme 9 Pro+ picks up Realme UI 4.0 beta based on Android 13

Google's Gboard latest update brings Android tablet layout

At the Google I/O 2022, the company announced that it will update its stock apps with a UI design specially crafted for large-screen devices. Adhering to its words, the tech giant has started upgrading the Gboard app on Android tablets that optimize the UI. However, the update is currently in the beta phase.

The latest large-screen-optimized UI for Android tablets is a part of Gboard 12.3 beta. When we say, new UI, it means the keyboard is less stretched out and more taller by default. Also, the background and keys are squares instead of rectangles, making it earlier to tap. On the other hand, while in portrait mode, the touch keys will get thin. Although the layout remains the same.

Moreover, the first two rows on the left houses Tab and Caps Lock keys. If you want to hide the keyboard, head to the bottom-right corner. MediaTek Dimensity 1080 SoC is ready to power mid-range 5G phones

MediaTek has announced the Dimensity 1080 processor whits sits over the Dimensity 920 SoC. Although is a watered-down version of the MediaTek Dimensity 1050. That implies the new chipset is 5G-ready. The Dimensity 1080 SoC is a 6nm octa-core chipset manufactured by TSMC. It features two ARM Cortex-A78 cores clocked at up to 2.6 GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores at up to 2.0 GHz. Also, it is integrated with the Mali-G68 MC4 unit to control graphics. In terms of storage, it supports LPDDR5 RAM and two-lane UFS 3.1.

In addition, it includes MediaTek's HyperEngine 3.0 networking engine as well. That means if your phone is dual SIM, it will allow users to play games on one 5G-enabled SIM and answer phone calls via the other.

Concerning cameras, the respective companies can deploy up to 200MP sensors with Dimensity 1080 SOC, that too with no shutter lag. The unit will support quad-camera concurrency and 4K HDR video recording.

Xiaomi 13 series display sizes revealed in render leaks
