Oppo Reno 8Z 5G hits Geekbench with Snapdragon 695 SoC

Oppo unveiled the Reno 8 series in China as well as other countries, including India. The lineup mainly includes three models: Reno 8, Reno 8 Pro, and Reno 8 Pro+. Now, the company is planning to extend the series with the introduction of Oppo Reno 8Z 5G. The upcoming phone has recently made an appearance on the Geekbench benchmarking website. The listing sheds light on some key details that follow below.

As per the Geekbench portal, the global variant of Reno 8Z 5G will bear the model number CPH2457. The device has managed to score 687 points in the single-core round and 1920 in the multi-core round. Further, the listing reveals the processor, operating system, and storage configuration of the device.

Under the hood, the upcoming device will draw power from an octa-core chipset with six cores clocked at and two cores with 2.21GHz. This is the Snapdragon 695 5G SoC, which will be integrated with Adreno 619 GPU.



In addition, the portal confirms an 8GB RAM model of the Reno 8Z 5G. However, we can expect the company to introduce multiple storage options. On the software front, the phone will boost Android 12 out of the box. With this OS, it is likely to be paired with ColorOS 12 on top.

To recall, the live images of the device were recently leaked with a triple rear camera setup. Also, it was spotted on the NBTC listing a couple of months ago. Besides, the leaks claim that the Oppo Reno 8Z 5G will pack a 4,500 mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.

A well-known tipster Jon Prosser has pitched the launch date of the upcoming Pixel smartphones. The devices are said to be revealed on October 13 in the US, while the pre-orders are said to begin on October 6.

Xiaomi 12T to power Dimensity 8100 Ultra SoC, claims leak

Xiaomi is planning to extend the Xiaomi 12 lineup with the T-mobile variants. Reportedly, the Xiaomi 12T and 12T Pro are in the works and can soon unveil in the global markets. However, the company has not made any official announcement yet. In the meantime, the specifications and key details of the vanilla Xiaomi 12T have managed to leak online.
